Midoriya bent down a bit, smiling in the process. "It's a pleasure to see you again, Uraraka."
Uraraka smiled back at him, chuckling a bit. "You too, Mister Midoriya," she hummed.
Midoriya laughed , covering his mouth. "You said you would stop." Once he was sure that his whole mouth was covered, his smile left his lips. Uraraka didn't make him happy; he couldn't force a smile. Forcing a smile meant lying, he couldn't lie to a friend.
Uraraka pulled her dress down a bit. "You said you'd answer the door when I come to the castle."
"Fair point." Midoriya grabbed her hand, gently pulling her along to his room, Bakugou following.
"Does he have to come?"
"Sadly, yes," Midoriya nodded.
"Of course I do!" Bakugou growled, crossing his arms. He opened the door and walked in, quickly making his way to the back of the room to lay on Midoriya's bed.
Midoriya tensed a little. First off, it wasn't like Bakugou to do something illegal- laying down... on Midoriya's bed. Bakugou had to be standing when he was around the prince, in case something happened. Bakugou knew this, and Midoriya wanted to say something, but Uraraka was around.
"Everything okay?" Uraraka asked, snapping Midoriya into reality.
"Yes, of course," he mumbled, nodding. He pulled Uraraka into his room and gently closed the door. He sorta glared at Bakugou, trying to get him to take the hint before his mom walks in.
Bakugou sat up, "Is something wrong, Izuku?"
Midoriya raised an eyebrow. Izuku? He shook his head, "no... of course not." This couldn't be Bakugou... he never used Izuku to address him. He should. It was the law... but when did Bakugou ever commit to the law? Sure, he didn't do the major crimes, but calling Midoriya "Deku" couldn't land him in prison, no unless Midoriya wanted it to... but Midoriya couldn't do that.
"So... how are things-"
"Izuku! Tell her!" Bakugou cut in, smirking. "Tell her about your-"
"Kacchan!"
"-secret boyfriend! Tell her about the secret meetings! Tell her how much you don't love her but pretend to! Tell her she isn't the right one for you... but I am!" Bakugou stood up, sliding his hand into a pocket in his belt, gripping onto something, then sliding it out. He was holding the blade part of a knife, the handle just... gone. "And, lord, tell her how much you-"
"Kacchan!" Midoriya yelled again. He pushed Uraraka back a little. "Hey... hey... go to the kitchen... there's a rock on the counter; go get that for me."
Uraraka nodded. She quickly left the room. Midoriya knew she was thinking the same thing as him; that's why she did what he said. Why did Bakugou change so suddenly... no... this wasn't Bakugou to begin with. It couldn't be!
"Awwww... She was kinda cute. Too pure though, not my type." Bakugou held the knife out to Midoriya, still smirking. "Why don't we put all that good training Katsuki led you through to good!"
Midoriya let out a quick breath. "Shapeshifter!" he yelled, at the top of his lungs.
"Deku, stop running! You're going to get yourself hurt!" Bakugou yelled.
"We're not 15 yet, Kacchan! You legally can't tell me what to do!" Midoriya giggled, dodging the tree branches by jumping and ducking. They were only 8, after all. He suddenly came to a stop, seeing a girl in front of him. She seemed to be maybe a year older. "Hello! What are you doing so far back here?" he asked.
The girl smiled, "just waiting for you, Prince Izuku!"
"See Kacchan! People do know who I am!"
"Shut up, nerd. We need to go home." Bakugou grabbed Midoriya's wrist.
"No... no I wanna talk to my new friend!" Midoriya pulled his wrist away. He looked back at the girl. "What's your name?"
The girl took a step closer. Her smile grew... she seemed to have fangs, but that didn't bother Midoriya. "I'm Himiko Toga. I've been watching you, Izuku... I want to get to know you."
Midoriya smiled back at her. "Maybe you can-"
"We're going!" Bakugou said, pulling Midoriya away. "That girl is creepy. Stay away from her, you hear me?"
"She seemed nice though!"
"I don't care!"
