------------------------------------

Red, dark crimson red covered her field of vision

Followed by sounds she couldn't identify, horrifying yet unidentifiable to her.

She wants to wake up now. This dream, this dream serves as a warning.

'Wake up. Wake up right now! Tell mum and dad, the world is in danger!'

She thought as she struggled through breathlessness and headaches. She knew she was in between the dream and reality realm, just a little more.

Rosemary woke up with a start, taking a deep gasp of air and holding her pounding head. She looked around the room, trying to get in touch with reality and was relieved to know she was still in her room, walls covered in light blue and white, furniture made for a princess.

She took a glance at the digital clock sitting on her beside table, it read 6.30 a.m., half an hour before she was supposed to wake up.

She scrambled out of her bed and went to her white desk of marble and the strongest wood in Asteria's Garden. She opened her journal, the Dream Journal.

The Dream Journal is a book she kept for all of the prediction riddles she receives from her dreams. Flipping through the pages and reading past entries to the journal.

"Oh dear Asteria, what warning have you sent upon me..." She mumbled.

All the searching has proven to be a waste of time as nothing she had written made sense with what she just saw in her dreams. She quickly wrote it down before she forgot the dream. Putting all of her effort to make it noticeable.

The door was knocked and a few of her personal maids walked in. "Good morning princess! Let us get ready for the day, breakfast is in an hour." One of the maids chirped.

"Right now isn't the time. I need to see my parents now. This is urgent!" Rosemary said as she turned around, her long black hair following her movements.

"Oh, but what could be so urgent princess? Surely it can wait for breakfast." Another said.

"No, it can't! I need to see my parents now!"

"In your nightgown?"

"I don't care what I'm wearing. This concerns the safety of this kingdom."

The maids looked at each other and eventually let her through. Rosemary gave them a nod and ran to her parent's room, passing maids and servants who looked at her in disbelief.

She reached the master bedroom of the castle and didn't hesitate to open it. Finding her parents still sleepily gathering their consciousness.

"Rosemary, it's early, what are you doing?" Her mother asked.

"Forgive me for the sudden intrusion mum, it's urgent and I can't just sit here when every second can make a difference in this." Rosemary said and did a small curtsey.

"Well? What is it Romy?" Her father asked.

"A riddle appeared in my dream once more. It was of crimson blood and sounds that don't sound pleasant. It was vague, unlike other visions I have had before. It gives me a horrid feeling in my stomach, I think it may be warning me of something big happening that ends in bloodshed." Rosemary explained.

"Oh my... That does sound urgent indeed..." Her mother mumbled and got out of bed, "We can't be sure though, why don't you arrange a meeting with Prince Mathias as soon as you can?" She suggested.

"I will do so, please inform the other kings and queens of other kingdoms of this. Once Prince Mathias and I reach a conclusion, we will tell you as soon as possible." Rosemary said and did a curtsey before leaving her parent's room.

On the way back to her room, she found her twin brother, Kaisar on his phone as usual. "Kai, are you flirting with Isa again?" She asked.

"How is that your business, Romy?" Kaisar asked as he looked up.

"You know we have a chance of being in arranged marriages and you only have a one in six chance of ending up with her."

"So? I'm only doing this for fun with her. No deep feelings involved. I'm not as stupid as Aiden and Kay or Fabian and Haneul." Kaisar laughed, "Besides, you have Darrell yourself, don't you?"

"Don't be foolish Kaisar. I don't have time for such things." Rosemary hissed and started walking back to her room but stopped. "Oh, and you shouldn't make her too attached to you, if we do end up getting arranged marriages, which is a big possibility now, and you don't end up with her, don't get out of your way to elope. That can potentially risk the kingdom's safety."

"A big possibility? Romy what are you talking about?" Kaisar asked as he turned back to look at his sister who walked away without saying another word. "Romy! Come back here! Rosemary!" He called to no answer.

He ran over to her and held her arm, preventing her from going anywhere. "Let go of my arm Kaisar, I have to contact Prince Mathias to arrange a meeting as soon as possible." She hissed and yanked her arm away.

"Gladys, please contact Prince Mathias and arrange a meeting for today. I shall conduct a video call with him as soon as he agrees." Rosemary said to one of the maids in front of her room.

"Of course, princess." Gladys said and curtseyed before walking away.

"Princess, shall we get you ready for today's activities?" One of the other maids asked.

"Of course, apologies for this morning's events. Let us quickly prepare for breakfast." Rosemary said as she was escorted into her room.

Kaisar stood in front of Rosemary's door. Wondering why his sister acted as she did this particular morning. He walked to his room and looked through his phone.

He pressed on a contact, Avanlynn was the name. He pressed the phone to his left ear as he paced back and forth in his room.

"Yes Kai? What's the occasion?" Avalynn asked from the end of the line.

"Yes, Ava, has Romy uh... Told you, Kay, Vira anything?" Kaisar asked.

"Hm? Not that I'm aware of. Romy and I haven't talked in a week, she said she's been busy with her classes. You know how busy she is considering she's given the task of getting future visions."

"I see... Kay and Vira didn't tell you anything?"

"As far as I know they're clueless. Why don't you ask them?"

"I'm not too familiar with them, and I'm afraid they'll ask Romy what's up with me asking them, you know? But thanks anyway." Kaisar said and hung up.

The door was knocked and he turned around, meeting the faces of his personal servants. "Prince Kaisar, it's time for breakfast." One of them informed.

Kaisar nodded and followed behind them as they walked to the dining room, passing Rosemary's room. He stared at it as they passed, wondering what she's hiding from him.
