Alfred sighed as the car pulled away from camp. It was his first time away from home for this long of a time. He was ready... but also kind of scared. His father had always been a little over protective over him and he was finally giving Alfred some freedom, but it was scary. Still, Alfred had never been one to back down. He gripped the straps of his backpack tighter, smiled and walked off to find his cabin.

Making friends was pretty easy. His cabin mates were all really friendly and only a few of them even mentioned his accent. His father was British and even though Alfred had a very American accent, he still had a hint of a British accent when he said certain words.

"Alfred!" His friend called. "We're going out on the lake. Wanna come?" He smiled and nodded excitedly.

"Sure! Give me a second." He replied, as he placed his tin of special belongings in the bedside table's drawer before running to catch up to his friends.

"Race you there?" His friend asked. Alfred smirked.

"It won't be a race." He bragged and they set off, he'd win, no doubt in his mind.

Matthew smiled at the familiar camp in front of him. He had gone to the camp for the last four years. He loved his summertime at the camp, it made him feel free. His father wasn't too demanding and let him have his freedom but it was nice to be away from home for eight weeks. He was so ready for this summer. He had friends and his normal cabin. He couldn't wait. Matthew didn't waste any time running off to his cabin and with his friends.

Lacrosse was their first activity, the group of friends loved that game. They bumped shoulders and shoved each other as they laughed and walked. As boys do. Matthew was shoved a little too hard and out of the group. He was laughing along with the group until he was quite literally run over and he and his 'attacker' fell to the floor.

"God, I'm sorry dude." His attacker said, sounding panicked.

"Hey, watch it!" Matthew said. He usually wouldn't be like this, but this guy could've ruined his summer. What if Matthew had broken his ankle? Then he would have to go home! Or least not be able to participate in the actives.

"Dude, I said I was sorry!" His attacker said, sitting up.

"I don't care." Matthew complained. "You shouldn't have run into me!"

"It's not like I meant to!" The guy yelled back. "I could've broken my glasses! I wouldn't run into someone on purpose."

"You knocked off my glasses too!" Matthew spat.

"Boys, knock it off!" The assistant counselor yelled at them. "Go to the craft table and work it out." He looked at the boy's friends. "Alone." Both Matthew and the guy sighed and put on their glasses. Matthew actually gasped when he saw the runner. He was still trying to find his glasses. They looked almost exactly alike. The boy's eyes were a vibrant blue that rivaled his own violet ones. He shook off his shock and handed the boy his glasses.

"Uh, here." Matthew said. The boy took them harshly.

"Thanks." He muttered but had the same reaction when he noticed Matthew. He simply averted his gaze and stood up, brushing himself off. "I guess we should go to the craft table." He said, at that point both of their friends had left.

"I guess so." Matthew said, standing as well.

The two walked over to the craft table and sat alone together. It was awkward for a moment, as they started to make bracelets and other crafts without talking.

"I'm Matthew." He said finally, sick of the uncomfortable silence.

"Alfred." He replied. A beat of silence. "We look a lot alike." Matthew nodded
