L:* Laurens PoV *
My phone buzzed. I looked down and smiled when I saw who it was. My sister Mia.
M: HELP!
L: Are you okay?
L: Answer me
L: MIA! ANSWER THE F***ING PHONE
She won't answer the phone. I get a message from an unknown number.
UN: We have Mia. Break up with Alexander or she dies. X O
There's an X O. Heather Chandler.
L: Why the hell do you have my sister?
HC: Break up with Alex or she dies.
I go pale. Lexi walks over.
"Are you okay?"
"I-I w-we..." I start sobbing and showed Lexi my phone. I sobbed into my boyfriends shoulder. My sister has been kidnapped. Jemmy's alone with dad. He's probably terrified and it's all my fault. Lexi hands me my phone. There was another message.
HC: You have 24 hours or she dies
L: Okay
HC: and record the break up then send to me. I know your both terrible actors
"Lexi, I have a plan"
I told him the plan. He walked out the door. I started recording. A few seconds later he walked in.
"Hey Jacky! You should've seen Herc's face when I threw the pie at him."
"Alex, I don't think we work"
His face dropped
"What do you mean?"
"We're done"
"Your breaking up with me?"
"Yes"
"I hate you"
He stormed out the door as I stopped recording. I sent it to Heather. God I hope she's satisfied. Lexi came back in and kissed my neck. I let out a small moan and then pulled away. This was not the time for *cough cough*
"I love you Jacky"
My phone buzzed. Heather has sent a picture. I gasped
"Lexi...."
He looked at the picture.
"Oh My God" He breathed. I had never seen anything like it.
Mia was unconscious on the floor with what looked like a broken arm and what could be a million bruises. Another message came through
HC: Come to the park. 5 minutes
L: I'll be there
"I have to go"
"See you soon Jacky. I can't wait to meet Mia"
I grabbed my phone and keys then sprinted to the park. Mia was slumped against a tree. Grabbing my phone I called 911 and called for an ambulance. Why did Heather do this?
