Chapter 1 - the first day

I slid out of my warm bed, awoken by the annoying ringing sound of my alarm clock. First day of going to my new school. I thought as I picked out my clothes for the day. Good thing this school doesn't have a dress code, or I'd be fucked.

I heard my older brother call for me "hajime! I made breakfast, come eat it" he called in his monotonous voice. "Coming!" I said, quickly tying my green tie, with the symbol of my old high school on it. I'll miss all my friends back there, i thought, dashing down the stairs and sitting down at the table.

My older brother slid me my breakfast, and I hungrily shoved a fork full of it into my mouth, swallowing it down before chewing "You really do eat like a starved animal" my older brother said, actually bothering to chew his food. "Says the person who's afraid of going to the barber" I said, stuffing my face with another large forkful of food.

"Perfection cannot be rushed, spike head" he insulted, only half done his breakfast, while I slurped of the last of mine. "Yeah right, like it doesn't take you four fucking hours each morning to bruh your damn hair" I yelled back, running into the kitchen and placing my dirty dishes in the sink. I'll do em later

I quickly made myself a bento box for my Lunch. All that really matters is kusamochi and orange juice, I thought, shoving it into my bag. I put in my backpack, and walked over to the front door. "Bye, Izuru-Nii!" I yelled back, swinging open the door "farewell" he responded emotionlessly. I ran out the door, excited for my first day of attending my new high school.

Time skip to him just arriving on campus

The school was MASSIVE, with many students cluster around outside the front doors, introducing themselves, socializing, looking for old friends. I didn't see anyone recognizable from afar, so I approached the doors.

Upon getting closer... something seemed off with these students... but I couldn't quite place a finger on it. A loud ringing noise sounded throughout the campus, and the student began to enter the school. I tried to achieve my way into the doors, but was pushed backwards. I tripped backwards, and hit my head hard on the cold concrete. My vision faded to black...

I woke up in what seemed to be the nurses office. "O-oh! Y-you're a-awake!" A stuttering voice exclaimed. An average height girl with long, choppy purple hair was standing in front of me... and she had a tail. A long, black, devil tail. And w-wings?! And horns?! I fell off the table I was laying on in surprise

"O-oh my g-god! Are y-y-you okay?!" She said, helping me up "y-you have wings! And a tail!" I exclaimed,very confused. "Y-yes? I d-do?" She spoke as if I was the odd one here. "Aren't you a monster too?" And then it hit me. Why everyone had looked so off at the beginning, why they were all looking at me weird... why they had tried to push me out.

They were all monsters, creatures...

And I was a human.
