I arrived at home, and threw my stuff onto my bed, and myself immediately after
What a day.
I took out my phone, and added komaeda's number as a contact, then texted him.
Me: hi ko, it's me, hinata.
Komaeda: oh, hello!
Me: so... I have to ask my parents... that question.
Komaeda: what question?
Me: well... do I transfer schools? And what should I tell them?! I can't just... give away your secret!
Komaeda: ...yeah, that is a problem.
Me: I mean, it's not your fault... but I just don't belong at your school. I'm a human.
Komaeda: doesn't mean we can't still be friends tho, right?
Me: yeah of course.
Komaeda: brb, I gotta eat dinner.
Me: k, bye.
I put my phone down, and sighed, untying my tie and throwing it onto a pile of laundry that needed to be done.
Why komaeda... why must you play with my heart like this?!
My door freaked open, and a familiar figure loomed over me. "What is it Izzy?!" I said, calling him by a nickname I knew he hated. "I made you dinner, now come eat it, you ignorant slob" he insulted, and gracefully walked out of my room.
Why does he always have to act so perfect?!
I followed him out of the room, the delicious scent of the food he's prepared muring me closer, I couldn't help but drool.
"Stop, you look like an imbecile" Izuru scoffed.
I Shot him a slight glare, which immediately faded away when I saw the food. I ran to my seat and devoured it in mere minutes.
"Are you some sort of bear trying to get fat for the winter? If so, you're doing a good job" Izuru jabbed. "Hey, at least I have a damn sense of humour, IZZY!" I mocked, grabbing my dishes and filling up the sink even more with dirty dishes needing to be done.
Talking to komaeda take priority.
I walked back upstairs, and flopped onto my bed, grabbing my phone and getting back to texting komaeda
K: well, whatever you do, I respect your decision. If you leave, at leave we have each other's number, and if you stay, I'll try and protect you from anyone who finds out about your little secret.
Well... here goes nothing. This may be the death of me, but at least I died with someone I love.
Me: I'll stay at your school. It doesn't matter to me what species you all are... I hope we can still all be friends.
K: :D!! See you at school tomorrow, I gotta sleep rn tho.
Me: g'night!
I turned off my phone, and plugged it in to charge. I got off of bed and turned off my lights, and slammed my head onto the pillow.
I began to think about what life will be like in my new school, full of non human school mates... but the most important question to me still went unanswered...
