Darkness and fog filled the skies of Teletubbyland, almost completely concealing K's base. Inside, nearly the whole group was asleep; all except for K. She had just woken up, and was now preparing a few smoke bombs to bring to the custard facility.
"These should come in handy." K put a few smoke bombs in a small bag she had pulled out of a closet in the base. She only really used the bag for emergencies, but she needed to bring everything she could fit, so now would be the perfect time to use it. On a whim, she glanced near the door, where Pip-Pip had chosen to sleep, and saw... Nothing. She tilted her head. "...Huh. No matter. A minor loss; he probably would have held us back anyway."
K finished her preparations, then walked back into the other room and woke the others.
"Lemon! Get up, it's time to leave." K nudged Sunset with her foot.
"Ughh.... Huh?" Sunset's eyes flickered open, and she sat up. "This early? It's still dark."
"Precisely. They won't be expecting us to come until sunrise, if I know them well." K adjusted her glasses.
Sunset tilted her head. "Do you know them well?"
K blinked. "...Well enough."
After a few minutes, the others were all awake, and the group was preparing to leave.
"So, lemme get this straight... Pip-Pip just... Left?" Sunset raised an eyebrow.
"It seems so, yes." K glanced off into the distance. "Not sure why."
"What a COWARD!" Fade laughed.
Zoey shot Fade a glare. "Oh, come on. That's just mean."
"Your FACE is mean!" Fade crossed his arms.
"My face is nicer than yours, that's for sure!" Zoey scoffed.
"Well, my face is nicer than either of yours!" Kevy stepped in, smirking.
"It won't be for LONG!" Fade growled, holding up his fist in a threatening manner.
"H-Hey, hey! Is fighting really gonna get us anywhere? Like they said, we survivors gotta stick together!" Zig-Zag stood between them, attempting to diffuse their argument.
"I-I just want this to be over..." Dee Dee whimpered.
"Precisely. It will only be over if we all join forces and take down Noo Noo as a team. Now, let's get moving; we're burning moonlight." K walked toward the door, gesturing for the others to follow.
Sunset sighed, reluctantly heading toward the door as well, the others following closely behind. "This is gonna be a long shot."
And so, the group began their journey to the custard facility. Immediately upon leaving the base, they were greeted by complete darkness, meaning they had no idea where they were going.
"Well, this is nice. We're never gonna find our way to the facility like this!" Sunset groaned.
"H-Hold on, I think I have an idea...!" Zig-Zag stepped to the front of the group, closing their eyes and concentrating. Suddenly, their antenna began glowing pinkish-purple, and their screen displayed a bright light of the same color, revealing their path. "A-Aha!"
"Wow, wait, we can DO that? I thought these screens were just completely useless!" Sunset's eyes widened. She immediately attempted to do the same, and surprisingly, it worked! A bright yellow light displayed from her screen, lighting the way further. "Neat!!"
Within less than a minute, a clutter of colorful lights brightened the area, coming from each of them. The light helped, but they still couldn't seem to find the path to the facility. Eventually, they came to an agreement.
