Chapter 2

12th March 2020

Hongseok POV

It was morning. I was sitting in the kitchen drinking my cup of coffee, when I felt a pair of arms wrap themselves around me.
I looked down at them and smiled.

"Good morning babe~" she said, her face snuggled behind my back.

"Good morning!" I said as I unwrapped one of her hands from around me to lightly place a kiss on the back of it.
As I did that, I heard her let out the cutest giggle a person can possibly giggle

    Oh my god! Cuteness overload..... She's so precious~

I know, our love is like all those cringy cliché love stories but honestly I don't give a damn because I a  spending my time with the one I love beside me...

"What are you gonna do today? " she asked me.

"Oh nothing much... I'll probably hang out with my friends at the mall. " I replied.

"Are you hanging out with my..my brot- Kino?" She asked.

"Yeah... wanna join?" I asked although I had a strong feeling she wouldn't because she usually doesn't.

"A-actually I was planning on resting the whole day today.... maybe some Netflix..." she said not making eye contact with me.

Did something happen between her brother and her?

Recently she's not been coming with me while I went to meet my friends which included her brother,who was my best friend.
When I ask her about why she avoids coming with me to meet her brother she replies that she doubts her brother is comfortable with us dating.
And I know that's a lie because we've been dating for 2 and a half years already.

"Okay then... I'll probably leave in like 30." I tell her while washing my cup.

"Also when you go there don't mention me. Kino and I aren't exactly on good terms." She says.

"Mhm.." Is all I  reply.

Time skip to the hangout

I enter the mall and look around.  I'm waiting at the place where we usually hangout.

I look at my phone. 9:48 am
I've been waiting her for more than 15 minutes looking like a loner.

Suddenly I see a familiar face walking towards me. I smile at that person.

"Its been a long time Hongseok." He says with a sad smile on his face.

"It has, Hyunggu" I replied getting up to give my best friend a big hug.

Time skip to 45 minutes later

I have been at the arcade for like, half an hour now with Hyunggu.
Turns out, all my other friends dropped out last minute due to some personal reasons.. well its all cool because I get to hang out with my best bud.

"Haha... you suck at this game Hyunggu." I mocked him as he lost for the third time in a row.

"Please, you're only winning 'cause of your luck." He replied.

"Well, if not talent, I at least got luck." I replied

"Y'know what? Let's play Dance Revolution..... " Hyunggu said.

"What? No fair... you're a dancer Hyunggu... I'm not doing it." I said backing out.

"Would you look at that? Hongseok's being a p*ssy" he said trying to fire me up.

"Oh no you didn't"

"Oh yes I did. "

After a moment's pause I said, "You're on."

"Yeah... let's do This! "  he said, clearly happy that I changed my mind.

After the game

"What was I thinking going up against the Kang Hyunggu...?" I said as I heard him chuckle.

"You're a pretty good dancer yourself." He said giving me a shoulder pat.

"Do people still..... call you Kino?" I asked him slowly.

3rd person POV

As soon as Hongseok asked that Hyunggu's face fell.

He honestly did not like it when people called him Kino. He didn't like it when anybody called him Kino. Anybody but his sister..... His y/n .....

He only allowed people to call him Kino because his sister said she thought that name suited him..... so he obviously allowed them, I mean he would have given up the world for her.

Hongseok understood that Hyunggu was uncomfortable with that name.

"Let's go play the high punch game." Hongseok said as he tried to lighten up the mood.

At home

I spent almost the whole day with Hyunggu. I really missed hanging out with him. We were so close.....

As I entered my house I saw y/n sleeping on the couch. A smile crept on my face seeing her peacefully sleeping.

I slowly walked to her and picked her up bridal style. I frowned when I picked her up. She was so light.

Has she been eating properly? I'm going to buy her something tasty for dinner.

I reached our room and slowly put her down sliding the blanket onto her.

"Sleep tight babe~" I said as I walked outside the room closing the door behind me.
