They were distant blood relatives of the "Uchiha" clan and as such, both were on good terms; an alliance that extended into the hidden villages -- "Konohagakure," and "Kirigakure." After helping found "Konoha" decades ago, the "Hawaitorozu's" grew increasingly isolated from the village's affairs, culminating in most of their deaths during the "Uchiha" and "Hawaitorozu Downfall."
