Chapter 1

Brooklyn was chilling on the couch watching tv and playing with her babyboy Zaiden. " Let A Nigga Try Me, Try Me Imma Get His Whole Family." Brooklyn phone went off.
" Hello." Brooklyn said as she answers the phone.
"Ayee you at home?" asked Aaliyah.
"Yea SugaMama wassup?" Brooklyn said. " Ight We on our way to your house." said Aaliyah. "Ummm, who the hell is we?" said Brooklyn with some suspicion in her voice. "Me, Kaleb, Elijah, Destiny, Ashanti, and Samantha." Aaliyah said while laughing. "Hahahaha ooh lawd ok girl see y'all when y'all get here." Brooklyn laughed along with Aaliyah. "Kk byee." Aaliyah hung up the phone.
Brooklyn put her phone down and picked up Zaiden and walked into the kitchen. She put him in his high chair and went to the sink to see if her chicken was thawed out yet. She walked to the fridge and pulled out some mustard greens. She then went to the cabinet and pulled out some Jiffy's cornbread, Kraft Mac & Cheese, and some Scalloped Potatoes. Brooklyn them started to coat the chicken and got her oil hot to fry it. While waiting on that she started washing the greens and put them in the pot to cook. She got the cornbread in the oven and the Mac & Cheese cooking. By the time food was done the squad pulled up and came on in the kitchen. Brooklyn didn't notice them until Zaiden said something while she was trying to feed him. " Heyy Yall, gone ahead y'all and get y'all plate and sit down." said Brooklyn while hugging everyone. " Well Ain't God Good! He Done Blessed Us With A Meal Knowing That We Was Hungry!" said Destiny. Everybody busted out laughing at Destiny's comment. Everybody got them a plate and started grubbing. "Damn these greens on fleek!" yelled Elijah out of nowhere. "Thank you suga." Brooklyn said. "Aye y'all wanna go to the mall?" asked Kaleb while playing with Zaiden. "Yea." Everybody said in unison. "Who car we taking tho?" asked Brooklyn.
"YOURS!" yelled everybody "😂😂 ok come on let's go." Brooklyn said. Everybody got in the car and started heading to the mall. Brooklyn had to drop off Zaiden at her Mama's house first. So after that they went to the mall and was walking around going to different stores and buying things. They all sat down at a bench and was talking and laughing until Samantha said something out of the blue. " Brooklyn is that Sean over there caking with that girl?" Everybody turned their heads and looked. "Mhmm yea it is." Brooklyn said with a kind of a hurt voice. "That girl looks familiar though?" said Ashanti. "Yea she do." said Destiny and Kaleb in an agreement. But what everybody didn't know was that the girl that Sean was caking up with was Kaleb's girlfriend Alexandria."Y'all ready to go cause you know we got that party to go to tonight." said Elijah trying to distract them from Sean and the girl. "Yea lets go." everybody said. They all got in the car and went back to Brooklyn's house got in their cars and left. A few hours later Sean came home. "Heyy baby!" Sean yelled through the house. He didn't get a reply so he walked up the stairs and saw Brooklyn laying in the bed crying. "Baby what's wrong?" asked Sean in a comforting voice. "WHO WAS SHE SEAN HUH?! WHO WAS THAT HOE THAT I SAW YOU HUGGING UP WITH AT THE MALL?!" said Brooklyn with anger in her voice.
" Man you tripping bro, you need to chill out with all that bullshit bruh ain't nobody cheating on you." Sean said with an attitude.
Brooklyn picked up a lamp and threw it at Sean's head. Sean dodged it and ran towards Brooklyn and tackled her on the floor. They wrestled and rolled all over the floor until...
BAM!
"Ooh shit what have I done...."
Blood stains all over their clothes, floor, and the wall.
"911 what's your emergency?" said the woman through the phone.
"I I I I I I." stuttered Sean.
"Calm down sir and tell me what happened." said the woman.
"I've shot my wife." Sean said with a cold voice. "SIR WHAT IS YOUR ADDRESS SO WE CAN SEND AN AMBULANCE RIGHT AWAY?" the said while panicking.
"........................." the phone line went dead. Sean just sat there crying until the ambulance came and got Brooklyn. They rushed her to the hospital and got her to a room. A couple hours everybody was in the lobby crying, sleep, pacing back and forth waiting for the doctor to come and tell them. "What if she's dead y'all." Destiny said while crying. "Don't say that bro do t say stuff like that!" yelled Kaleb. "Family of Ms.Brooklyn." as he said while looking around to tell them the news. "Here we are." said Destiny. "Well she's in a coma, the bullet hit a vain in her body that put her in a coma." said the doctor. After that it seemed like the whole world had just stopped nobody was moving. That hurt everyone badly cause Brooklyn was like a mother to them cause whenever they needed something Brooklyn was there to help them get through. But who it really hurt the most was Kaleb because she is the mother of his son Zaiden. Nobody knew but Kaleb and Brooklyn because they decided to keep it on the low and to make it look like it was Sean's son. "Kaleb are you ok?" asked Ashanti with a worried sound in her voice. "No, Brooklyn might be dead." cried Kaleb. "No she's not remember don't say that God's got her in his hands." said Aaliyah "I gotta tell y'all something that somebody and I have been hiding for a while now." said Kaleb. Everybody got quiet and put their attention on him and waited for him to tell them. " I have a baby by Brooklyn." Kaleb said. "Ok who and where is it tho." They all said sounding curious. "It's Zaiden." said Kaleb while pulling out his phone showing their old family photos.
