As time went on, one-day Rose and I got into a serious argument. It began with my divorce and Rose to listen to me when I was speaking to Jessica on the phone about the divorce. Rose was upset not believing that I would be able to get my divorce completed which nearly ended our relationship. After her yelling and screaming at me, she wasn't feeling well. She nearly collapsed from being lightheaded and dizzy.

After what had happened, I tried to make sure she was ok and help calm her down while putting ease to myself.

After making sure Rose was alright and getting over ourselves, both of us apologized for our actions. We kissed each other and made up of the argument. Rose then gave me her blessing through the faintest of a smile. From then on, I caressed her in my arms as we held each other until we fell asleep.

The next day she still wasn't feeling any better. As a matter of fact, she was feeling worse. We decided to go to the hospital in Hannam-dong to see what the reason could be. A lot of people have been getting sick in the area due to food poisoning at different restaurants. We figured this could have been a possibility since it had been said that some places around here were said to either to reuse their food or be prone not to cook the food thoroughly.

We went to go check it out. Come to find out she was pregnant. She was only about two to three weeks along. Rose was supposed to be back in two weeks to see how everything was coming along. The nurse was surprised that Rose didn't know. The nurse went on to explain that sometimes people are unaware of the first month or so.

I wasn't too surprised. The thought did run through my mind, though I was hoping that wasn't the case. This was awkward. How do I deal with this? I am already in a never-ending process of a divorce that is costing me everything already. I was the one to blame for this so I will continue to do what I had to do.

Rose and I talked, and since she couldn't work at her job on the Korean work visa since she was pregnant, I felt obligated to pay for her food and medical payments since I was the father. The insurance that she had wasn't much, especially during pregnancy. I then told Rose, "Don't worry. I will take care of you. I will take care of everything." Not knowing how I really messed up or how I'm going to take care of her? What about my leadership finding out? These thoughts continuously ran through my head.

As her appointment approached, we went back to the OBGYN doctor that was in town to conduct her four-week check. As Rose and I were sitting there, the nurse was conducting the ultrasound of the baby.

As Rose and I were looking at the monitor to try to see the image of the baby, the nurse said, "Here's a head." At that point, just hearing how the nurse sounded, it was as if there were multiple babies. Then the nurse continued moving the ultrasound probe. "Here is the other. Congratulations, you are having twins, two boys."

At that point, Rose and I looked at each other and smiled. I felt joyful. Actually, having twins would be a good thing and some people thought it a blessing because of the odds. Even though the time needed to parent them would be forever.

Rose began to stay with me from then on since she couldn't stay at her apartment any longer. It was paid for by her job's management. Since she was out of a job, she was also out of a place to stay. It all was my responsibility to tend the care of Rose and the unborn babies.

Since Rose was practically living with me in my place on post, we had to walk to the gate every day and get her signed on as a guest. This was not too bad, but time went on and she began to gain more weight. It was more difficult for her to walk. She would seem to waddle like a penguin. I would playfully joke with her about it, without getting slapped.

Rose and I discussed names for the babies. She wanted to name one, Nathan and I wanted to name the other, Ethan. We agreed with the names and were looking forward to the moment of life.
