(Shigaraki has a quirk that makes him smell fresh blood the drawback is that its always on like his decay quirk and he can smell blood from 3 km away)
3rd person pov
Izuku was walking back home once he heard that he couldn't be a hero by all might his god. his his hopes shattered, when he got home his 'mom' wasn't there so he took a dagger and started cutting. Shigaraki was in the vicinity so he smelled the blood coming from the Mdoriya's he then brook down the door because he remembered how his 'father' abused him and he thought that some one was either: A some one cutting because of abuse or B some one died because of murder or suicide.
