"I swear Charlie, if you say that again I'm going to ram your head into the wall so hard that it will be bruised for weeks to come" I said glaring at my brother.

"Awwww" his lips started to pout. "I'm just trying it be sensitive caring brother you know me to be" he looked up at me. His blonde hair fell over his blue that were now staring at me innocently.

"You know" I started to say a big grin coming across my face "Sometimes I find it extremely hard to believe that you are eighteen when you act like a five year old!"

"Ow that hurt my feelings Em" he placed his hand against his heart and then fell carelessly onto the couch hitting his head on the wall. His hair flopped over his eyes and his facial expression a shocked one, was priceless . If only I had a phone right now...

"Don't even think about" he wagged a finger at me as he stood up quickly. "How come is it that you always know what I am thinking" I looked up at him puzzled. Was it just something one he could do, because my parents sure couldn't do it.

"And just incase your wondering" he glanced up at me his lips curling up. "It is only something I can do, it is my job as a brother, to know what you are thinking so that I can use it against you" he finished a look of satisfaction on his face.

"Oh really is that right?" I said cheekily. Walking up to him slowly. "Em.. What..-" I cut him off before he could keep stuttering. I grabbed him by the shoulder and leaned in close and whispered into his ear softly "What if I told mum and dad about a couple of nights ago?" I grinned and stepped back. Again the look on his face....

"No please don't" he said twisting around uncomfortably. Then he turned around and walked out of the living room.

I knew that would work. A couple of nights ago he had gone to a party, gotten drunk and had done stupid things and gotten in trouble with the police. Luckily I had been the only still awake when he came into the house at one looking as drunk as hell. He wasn't usually like that and knew he would get in huge trouble if mum and dad found out. He was lucky that I agreed to keep silent considering how incredibly annoying he can be sometimes.

---- SWEET REVENGE ----

"He really said that!" a high pitched shriek came from the other end of the phone. I was lying sprawled out on my bed in my pig sty of bedroom. On the phone with my best friend Lilly. I had been considering what to do for awhile after the whole 'drama' with Charlie, and considering the fact that I hadn't seen Lilly lately since we were on holidays I had decided to ring her.

"Yes" I said rolling my eyes imagining Lilly now jumping upright on her pink bed. Her thin strawberry couple red hair floating all over the place an extremely shocked expression on her face. "He can be such a jerk sometimes, I don't know how you deal with it!" she muttered into the phone. "Yeah.. I suppose so" I said back thinking of how annoying i must of been making him sound. I decided to come to his defence, just this once. "But you get used to it, and besides it isn't to much of a big deal anyway..." I started to mumble as I trailed off in thought... was it?

"Seriously, your brother telling you to have fun and make out with as many guys as you want is not a big deal?!" Lily literally screamed into the phone. She caught me off guard and I nearly dropped the phone luckily I caught it just as it was about to hit the floor. "God, Lilly not so loud, I nearly dropped the damn phone!" I scowled.

"Sorry Em.." There was a pause and the a sigh "but you know we agree that your first kiss should be with the one who you truly love" she gushed. Yeah I know, ever since Lilly and I were little we had always believed that our first kiss had to be with the one who was made for us.. and even though this sounds extremely corny I still believed it. Even though I was now seventeen. I would never admit it to anyone except for Lily.

"Yeah, I know Lilly I'm really sorry, I mean I was really pissed at him, I threatened to ram his head into the wall" I decided I wouldn't tell even Lily about Charlie's secret. "Ooooo" she said sounding excited again, "how did we react with that?". I smiled and rolled onto my back. God it felt good. "Not very well" I grinned staring up at my purple ceiling.

"Can I ask you something" I heard Lily quietly say. "You don't have to ask you know, just ask away" I replied curiously. What did she want to ask me?. "Well... You know Josh from school?" She said slowly. Of course I knew Josh, the guy that Lily had fallen head over heels for and had even crushing on home majorly for the past five years. "Yes" I raised in eyebrow suspiciously. "Spill the beans now Lily" I practically yelled into the phone.

"He is having a party at his house tonight.. and well-" I cut her off, I knew what was coming next. "And you were hoping that I would come with you?". "Yes, It ends at midnight so...." came a soft reply.

I glanced up at my clock on the wall. It was only eight, still had plenty of time left. "Sure, can you be here in twenty?"

I bit my lip waiting for a reply. I wasn't really worried about my parents, they were both asleep already. I'd just have to sneak out and it wasn't like the first time I'd done it. "Yep" came an excited squeal from the phone and then a long beep.

Well I thought standing up dropping the phone on the bed and looking at myself in the mirror. Time to get ready for a party... God help me.
