The new future queens ( and don't forget the young king)

Chapter 1

The adventures started one day on a dirty street corner with three girls who had lived there for about thirteen years. There was the oldest child named Lana, the middle girl whose name was Jessica, and the youngest was named Lola. Thirteen years ago when their parents went missing they found a present box with four things inside. There were gifts for each of the girls inside and a smaller box with a note and another note that just said "to Lola no one else may read" it even had parentheses which stated: "(no one even and especially her sisters may know the contents of this note until Lola has read it and deemed it is the right time )". The note said to only open it when Lola was 15 years old. Lola was only 2 at the time.

Now it was finally Lola's 15th birthday so they opened the mysterious box. Inside the box, they found three keychains. The keychains were very pretty. One looked like an ice cube with a wave. It had Lola's name on it. One looked like a fire with the sun behind it with Jessica's name on it. Finally, the last one appeared to be a flower with Lana's name on it. The girls wondered about it until they went to sleep.

Later that night after they had all three fallen asleep [they were light sleepers] Lola woke up in an odd predicament. She was so cold she felt like she had been frozen in an ice cube[although she was tucked safely with her sisters in their warmth.]. Oddly her sister Jessica had the opposite problem. She felt like her entire body had been set on fire. She thought it was because of her sisters being so close so she looked over about to wake them but she saw Lola clutching the blanket looking as if she had just been swimming on the coast of the south pole. Then when she looked over at her other sister, still wincing at the painful heat, she found Lana was awake but trapped under many vines, almost fully covered. Jessica tried to rip away some of the vines but instead, the vines lit up in flames and the unbearable heat went away even though now her hand really was on fire. When Lola saw what had happened she tried to get up but when she put out her hand a stream of water came out and with the water all the cold went away and everything she touched felt like it was on fire. When Jessica got up after setting the vines on fire everything she touched felt like ice but after a few seconds, everything was back to normal. When Lola finally got back to normal she was so confused she didn't move for about 1 minute. Jessica was confused too but she immediately got back to normal. Lana had finally calmed down after the vines had set her free, Lola wasn't paying attention to her at that point, she had barely been able to breathe under the vines. When she got up she found everything was pretty much normal other than the fact that Lola was standing still looking very puzzled. They decided to get some much-needed sleep before looking further into the insane event.

(I've only ever written stories for English class so this will probably not be great but I'm trying my best and I hope you like it)
