A/N - I've been gone for so long, but between the holidays and job hunting I just couldn't find the time needed to write. I think I made up for it a little bit though, this is probably my longest chapter yet. It really should be two chapters, but I am eager to wrap up my flashback and create some new memories!

Flashback (cont.)

The rest of the trip was fairly uneventful, however thanks to some irresponsible freshman drinking and carrying on the first night the seniors had reassigned themselves to the trouble makers rooms, that included his roommate as well unfortunately. In the end it was probably better that way, Kongpob had heard everything Arthit said the other morning, but if they were forced to stay in the same room Kongpob wasn't sure he would be able to give Arthit the space he seemed to be asking for. Bringing him to his current dilemma, should he sit next to Arthit on the bus ride home or not.

The night before, after they had received their gears, Kongpob had wandered down to the water to sit by himself for a while. The last few months had been crazy, and this trip was no exception. He knows that the relationship between him and Arthit isn't societies norm, but he really couldn't control the way he felt. He knew he wanted to be with Arthit, and as long as Arthit was beside him he would face whatever issues they had, the problem was he wasn't sure if his P' felt the same way.

Arthit has noticed Kongpob wander off, so grabbing a cold beer he went after him. Arthit wasn't ready to make life altering relationship decisions, but he also wasn't willing to just cut Kongpob out of his life either. Pressing the cold drink against Kongpob's neck, he let out a small laugh watching his junior jump a foot in surprise.

"Hey what are you doing down here by yourself? Want a drink?"

Shaking his head, Kongpob grabbed the drink from Arthit, rolling his eyes at him as he took a drink. "Not much P', just looking for some peace and quiet. Ever since the beach incident the other day Aim hasn't let me out of his sight, it's starting to feel a little suffocating," Kong gave a small smile.

Arthit plopped down next to him in the sand, nodding in understanding, "To be honest, I kind of know how he feels, that was probably the scariest thing I have ever witnessed before. I'm surprised you are so ok actually." Arthit really wanted to ask him if he had anymore nightmares, but wasn't sure it was really his place to pry. Afterall, he was the one that told Kongpob he needed time and space. Sharing your dreams and nightmares with someone was pretty intimate.

Kongpob gave him a sad smile, "I haven't completely forgotten yet, I've really just been trying not to think about it, otherwise I'd probably freak out."

The boys kept sneaking looks at each other, neither of them really sure how to navigate the conversation. Sighing Arthit moved to get up, but before he could stand up Kongpob tugged him back down next to him.

"Hey P' ......... um, I wanted to give you something. Can I have your hand?"

Arthit suspiciously eyed Kongpob before stretching out his hand to him, he couldn't see what Kongpob dropped in his hand at first, but felt the weight of the metal.

"Kongpob what the fuck?! Why are you giving back your gear, after everything you worked for to get it, how can you just hand it back over like this?! What are you trying to say?!"
