trigger warning : abuse

As Betty walked home, she could feel something. An unwanted presence. It wasn't very unusual for Riverdale, but to Betty it was. The only time something bad really ever happened was when she was at home.

A twig snapped and the blonde looked back. There was a man walking his dog, and another one smoking a cigarette with a sickening smile on his face. The girl simply shrugged it off and continued on with her walk, quickening her pace as she heard the men behind her speed up.

A hand covered her mouth.

"Be quiet and nothing will happen."

Silent tears streamed down the girls face and she choked out a sob, as he pushed her roughly to the cold, wet concrete.

The blonde's sobs became muffled and eventually her body went limp.

-

He told him to get the girl, so here he was with a body slung over his shoulder, and two people following behind him as he trailed down the street.

Of course nobody said anything, nobody wanted to go to jail, or get in trouble with the serpents. They were known to be dangerous.

The trio made it to the bar, it was a very well known place on the south side of town, mainly because all of them were serpents, but occasionally you would have a northsider show up.

The tall man walked to the back of the bar, walking carefully down the basement stairs and into a tunnel, leading to the very back room that hardly anybody knew about.

The man placed the girl down on a chair, tying up her arms, and legs, simply because they didn't want her to escape.

The girl with pink hair gasped once the bag was pulled from the girl's head.

"What?" The tall man asked.

"That's Cheryl's cousin."
"Who's Cheryl?"
"My girlfriend you dipshit"

"Well Toni, I'm sorry. I don't keep up with all your lesbian rendezvous." The man smirked, earning a slap to the back of his head.

"She can't see me, She knows who I am."

"Relax, go upstairs and get him"

Toni left and the two men looked at the blonde.

"Shes pretty" The short one mumbled.
"She really is, what a shame." The tall one sighed.

The blonde started waking up and barely got to open her eyes before a hard punch was delivered to her nose. The girl's nose cracked and blood poured from it.

"Sweet Pea!" The short lad panicked.

The blonde's head flew back and a choked cry came from her mouth.

"I am so sorry." Sweet Pea whispered, grabbing a cloth and holding it to the girl's nose, who silently thanked him with a tiny smile.

Footsteps were suddenly heard coming from the tunnel, and Toni entered with another man following behind her.

"What the hell did you do?" Toni asked, looking between both of the men she left in the room, they couldn't last for five minutes without trying to kill the poor girl.

"I'm sorry, I panicked when she woke up." Sweet Pea whispered.

"Fangs? You didn't stop him?" Toni asked.

"Yeah right, I'm two feet tall. He is a giant!" The boy shouted, standing shoulder to shoulder with the man to show a difference.

"Shut up!" The boy with the beanie yelled, pointing between the two men infront of him.

The blonde girl was confused. Why was Toni here? Why were these men yelling? And what did they want from her?

The man with the beanie stalked over to the blonde and pulled her head back from her ponytail. The girl released a whine, letting him know that she wasn't happy, but got a glare in response.

The man looked her dead in the eyes and whispered in a dangerously low voice ;

"You're going to telk me everything I want to know, everything I need to know, and everything you think is valuable information. Don't do it, and you get punished."

As the man looked into her eyes, she couldn't help but tear up a bit. She didn't deserve this.

"Toni? What is he talking about? Why are you here? What do they want from me?" The girl started rambling, wincing when the grip on her ponytail was released and her scalp started pounding.

The boy with the beanie looked at Betty, an evil smirk growing on his face.

"Alice Cooper's daughter, am I right?"

Betty only nodded, she was already terrified of the boy and just didn't want to make things worse. She knew if she opened her mouth she would start crying and she didn't want to look weak.

"She has been trashing the Southside for years, and us serpents are sick of it." He said, moving his finger around the room.

"What you're going to do is tell me, anything and everything you know. You're going to help us take her down." He said in a normal tone.

His regular voice was much softer and less scary than his his harsh voice, the girl guessed he only used it on certain people, in certain situations.

"But she's my mother, I-"

He placed his hand on her throat and forced the girl to look into his eyes.

"From what I have heard, she's not a very good one." He hissed, letting her go and walking out of the room, slamming the tunnel door shut.

"Um, can you put another one up?" Betty asked, looking at the man who was named Sweet Pea.

"Yeah, of course." He said, pulling the bloody tissue from her nose and replacing it with a clean one.

"Why is he doing this to me? Why not my mother?" Betty asked, looking at each person standing in the room.

"Because she would never give us the answers we needed." Fangs explained.

"And what answers do you need?"

-

Jughead walked up the basement stairs and into the actual bar part of the 'Whyte Wyrm'.

"Hi Dad." Jughead sighed, sitting at the counter gaining a man's attention.
"Hey Boy." The man smiled.

Jughead used to think he was adopted, he had his reasons. He didn't look anything like either of his parents, and certainly didn't act like either of them. Except his dad when he was angry, then he could see the similarities.

"She's downstairs, in the very back." Jughead sighed, pulling his beanie off and tossing it on the counter.

"Has she said anything?" The boy's dad questioned.

"A bit, yeah. I haven't exactly asked her about Alice yet, but I'm thinking about tomorrow. Dad, I don't know if I can do this." Jughead whispered.

"What do you mean? We have to get those answers." The boy's dad, Fp, ordered.

"I know, I do. I can do it as long as I don't have to hit her. I've heard thing's dad, and I don't think I would be able to live with myself if I add onto some of them."

"What have you heard?"

"I heard that Alice h-"

The front door to the bar opened, and in walked the one and only, Cheryl Blossom.
