Y/N's P.O.V.

I was watching the scenery of beautiful green grass and flowers zip by through the window of the bus. I can't believe how long it has been since i was in this town, Beach City. I used to live here when i was little with my best friend Connie Maheswaran, and she is the exact reason I'm coming back. She is on break from Space Camp for a few weeks and wanted me to come visit her during that time. I saw the gorgeous blue ocean and smiled instantly remembering all the moments Connie and I shared by the waters.  I missed seeing her so much, other than our 15 minute facetime calls that would happen very rarely. Suddenly I felt the bus stop and i stood up with my duffel bag and book bag. I thanked the bus driver and got off at the stop. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, i sighed and opened my eyes to see the town i loved so much. My smile grew. I felt my phone vibrate in the back pocket of my ripped jeans. When i pulled it out I let out a small gasp and smiled even more. I answered the face time call, "CONNIE!" I felt a few people stare at me and i blushed and giggled nervously and started to walk to a nearby bench by the beach. 

"Y/N! Where are you right now? Did you make it here?" Connie asked

"Haha yeah! I'm sitting not too far from the stop by Fish Stew Pizza." I looked towards the small establishment and chuckled.

"OH MY GOSH! Okay! I'll be there soon!" She smiled at me through the screen, "See you in a bit (N/N)! Come on St-" she hung up before i could here the rest of what she was saying. I put my bags by me on the bench and looked out beyond the glimmering sea and a memory came flooding back. 

~Flashback~

There were only three more weeks until i was going to leave Beach City with my older brother since he had to go to college. I was playing on the beach with Connie as she was reading. Suddenly I heard someone grunting and looked over to see a short boy with curly brown hair and red helmet try to ride his bike on the sand. I stifled a laugh and just waited for him to make his way over, Connie didn't even notice him. He finally made it over and he tried bragging about his bike. I just silently watched holding my breath trying hard not to laugh. He suddenly tried to get back on and he fell over. I gasped and Connie finally looked up at him. I ran over and helped him up.  "Hey are you okay?" I asked him. But before i could reach my hand out to him he blushed brightly and ran away throwing his helmet down on the ground by my feet. I looked at Connie but she just shrugged and continued reading. I picked up his bike and helmet and suddenly saw him coming back holding something that looked familiar. When he got over he noticed me looking at him and blushed. 

"H-hi! My name is Steven," he smiled nervously. I brushed off my dress and approached him.

"My name is Y/N, and that is my best friend, Connie," I pointed to her and she looked up at me and Steven and gave him a friendly smile and waved. He waved back and that is when I noticed what he was holding. 

"Oh!," he seemed to remember something, "Here," he handed me a pink glow stick bracelet and a red one as well. I smiled and blushed thanking him and handing him his helmet making him blush furiously. I chuckled.

~Back To the Present~

"Steven..." I whispered under my breath. I felt my face heat up but shook my head. He probably doesn't even live here anymore and besides I haven't seen him in like, what? Four years? (you're roughly around 16) And I only knew him for a short time anyway. I sighed. I heard footsteps behind me but I didn't look. Suddenly arms wrapped around my shoulders in an embrace. I fell forward and screamed while turning in the process. The person was on top of me now. It was....
