Huh? What?

LATER AT THE HOSPITAL JUNGKOOK POV

Both my and Y/N's parents are with me in the hallway waiting for any word on Y/N's condition.

Mrs Car: "What is taking them so long? I can't stand the waiting!"

I walk over to Mrs Car. I grab both of her shoulders then speak.

Jungkook: "Mrs Car, I know she will be ok. They need to find out what is wrong. Let's give them all of the time they need to make Y/N better." Tears fall down my face. I tightly hug Mrs Car and she rubs and pats my back in a comforting way.

A little while later doctor holding a clipboard came out of the swinging double doors and walked over to us.

Dr Chu: "Are you Y/N's family?"

Jungkook: "YES!" I jump up even before her parents do.

Mr & Mrs Car: "Yes, we are her parents. What's happened to our daughter?" They stand up. I step between them.

Jungkook: "Is she ok? Can we see her? Is she awake?" I say with urgency, breathing heavy.

Dr Chu: "If you are family please come with me." Y/N's parents follow the doctor into the double doors and I try to go with them. My dad stopped me...

Mr Jeon: "Son, I know you care about Y/N. We all do, but stay back and let the doctor talk to her family first, ok?" He puts a hand on my shoulder. I turn to look at him. Then my floodgates opened.

Jungkook: "But dad, what if she isn't alright? What am I going to do??? First, I can't be with the woman I love. Now, I may lose her completely! She's my best friend... my new sister..." I cry on my dad's shoulder like a baby. A grown man... but I fell to pieces.  At that moment I prayed.

Jungkook: "God, although I can't be with Y/N as a man, please let her be ok. I don't want to lose any more than I already have. I need to be in her life in whatever capacity I can.... Beau, Best friend or Brother..."

Later, my mom, dad and I were allowed to visit her.

THE NEXT MORNING IN Y/N's HOSPITAL ROOM JUNGKOOK POV

I woke up with an aching back. I have been sitting in an uncomfortable chair next to her hospital bed all night. I have been holding her hand the hold time. She didn't wake up at all yesterday. 

I just kiss the back of her soft hand and study her form. I still do not want to believe we are siblings. We don't look alike. I am whole Korean. She is part Korean. She looks more like her mom who is half Korean, half Ethiopian. She is beautifully exotic. Her wavy reddish-brown hair compliments her caramel complexion. Her lips are plump with a natural pink tone. She has huge beautiful hazel colored eyes with the Asian mono-lid. She is so perfect. Even the small scar under her left eye is beautiful to me. I leaned over here to tuck some of her waves behind her ear. Just then her eyes pop open and she looks around confused.

Y/N: "Hey, I am in the hospital? What happened?" She attempts to sit up.

Jungkook: "Do you remember any of last night?"

Y/N: "Yes. You and I... cant be together anymore. My whole life is basically a lie." She looks away from me and frowns.

Jungkook: "You collapsed and went into convulsions. Came here in an ambulance." Y/N looks back at me.

Y/N: "And have you been by my side all night?" She grabs my hand and smiles.

Jungkook: "Yes, and I am not going anywhere. I will stay by your side Y/N. Even as a brother." She bent over and kissed my on my left cheek.

Y/N: "I know. And I love you. May I ask you for a favor please?" Her eyes met mine.

Jungkook: "Yes, anything."

Y/N: "Please give me one last kiss as my boyfriend? A goodbye kiss from my lover." Her pleading eyes stayed on mines.

We both leaned in for that last time with our eyes closed. When our lips touched tears rolled down both of our cheeks. It was a soft, long, closed lipped kiss. I never wanted it to end.

Just as we were pulling away, both of our parents walked in the door along with a nurse.

Mr Jeon: "What is going on here?"

Both Y/N and I jumped back.

Jungkook: "We were saying goodbye." I looked at Y/N. She nodded in agreement with a sad smile on her face.

The nurse walks over to Y/N.

Nurse: "Young lady, I am here to check your vital signs for the doctor." The nurse gives Y/N a genuine smile and begins to check Y/N.

Nurse: "Sweetie, you gave your family quite a scare last night. You had a pretty big epileptic seizure this time." Speaking a matter of fact.

Y/N: "This time? I have never had a seizure in my life."

Nurse: "It seems you recently endured a lot of stress which caused you to have the seizure. The doctor has diagnosed you with epilepsy. You can thank one of your parents for passing that on to you." The nurse chuckles to herself.

Y/N: "My mom doesn't have it. My dad... " Y/N looks over at my dad.

Mr. Jeon: "I don't have it either."

Nurse: "Well that is surely odd. It is usually diagnosed as a child and is hereditary. You would get it from one of your parents. Are you sure these are your parents, sweetie???" The nurse chuckles to herself again. No one else in the room sees humor about this situation.

Y/N begins to cry.

Nurse: "I think the patient needs some rest. It's best if you guys leave out for a while and come back after she gets some sleep. The doctor will discharge her this afternoon." We all hug Y/N and leave the room along with the nurse.
