Chapter 6

Lauren's POV 

2 Weeks Later

Everyone including Ava was feeling completely better and I decided to take the kids to the park and Taylor came with us. Trevor being a daredevil decided to run up the slide itself multiple times finally causing him to fall and scrap his knee and because he isn't good with pain of any kind he started crying. I gave Taylor my keys to get the first aide kit out of the car so that I can get Trevor's scrapped knee cleaned up. Once I did that Trevor didn't want to play again so he sat with me and Taylor until it was time to go home. while I carried Trevor and the first Aid kit back to the car Taylor carried Ava. Once we got home Trevor played with toys while I made lunch after lunch Trevor went back to playing with toys while I decided to get some laundry done for all of us after laundry was done there was still time before Dinner so we watched a movie and during the movie both Trevor and Ava cuddled up to me and Taylor sat next to Ava to watch the movie. After the movie it was now dinner time and I decided that I would cook something this time since we were all sick and I mainly just ordered out because I didnt feel like cooking. As usual after dinner it was time for Trevor and Ava to get a bath. When I bathed Trevor he thought it would be funny and fun to splash me with water and Ava did the same thing to me. When the kids were dried and dressed I tucked Trevor in and gave him a kiss on his head then went into my room to sit in my bed and nurse Ava until she eventually fell asleep in my arms. After nursing Ava I got myself situated and put Ava in her crib in her room and tucked her in and gave her a kiss on her head. Since I was still wet from Trevor and Ava splashing me I decided to get a shower before going to check on Taylor who honestly seemed down all day today. After my shower and I was dressed in my Pajama's I went to go and check on Taylor and seen that she was still awake so I asked her what was wrong and she told me that earlier in the day she got texts from mom and dad telling her what a disappointment she was and after she told me that she hugged me tightly and broke down crying. It broke my heart seeing my sister cry this much I decided to lay down and let Taylor lay down next to me and put her head on my chest to try to calm her down I also rubbed her back and she eventually did fall asleep I stayed in Taylor's room until I knew that Taylor was for sure asleep before tucking her in and giving her a kiss on her head and making sure that she had her phone on her charger because she is exactly like me with her phone. I went around the house and made sure everything was closed and locked before heading to my room for the night where I decided to send a group text to my mom and dad about what Taylor told me they said and I decided that if the time came I will take custody of my 1 year old brother because of how my mom and dad are acting towards Taylor and I don't want my baby brother Chris going through that.

LAUREN'S TEXT'S BETWEEN HER AND HER PARENT

GROUP TEXT LAUREN, MOM, DAD

LAUREN- Why did you text Taylor and tell her that she is a disappointment and I want the truth now she is only 15 years old what does it matter what Gender she loves and wants to be in a relationship with.

MOM- we may support you Lauren but we do not want our 15 year old daughter being gay.

DAD- Im sorry Lauren I agree with your mom

LAUREN- that's it ive had it with how you treat Taylor and I swear if you continue texting Taylor stuff like this I will file for custody or Chris he doesn't need to grow up thinking that it's wrong to be Gay, or Bisexual.
