dear journal,

he asked me another question today, actually a few questions.

"what's your name?" he asked.

i wrote down autumn.

he laughed, and said "like the season? that's cute."

i shook my head nothing about me was cute.

the next question he asked shocked me the most.

"would you like to go to dinner tonight?"

"what?" i said so surprised.

"so you do talk! and ya i would like to get to know you and i see you around school a lot you look so lonely and sad, and you said you weren't okay. so i thought you needed a friend?"

he said some other things also but i forgot he actually rambled on for quite a bit, i think he rambles when he's nervous, but why would he be nervous around me.

i just nodded and said ok.

he said great and asked for my number.

i gave it to him.

then later that night we went to dinner and it was the most fun i've ever had.

that one date led to a whole new friendship and also surprisingly a relationship.

by the first month they were going on friendly little dates, louis loved autumn.

so they were sitting on his couch watching movies together.

then out of the blue she heard louis say i love you.

she was so shocked. autumn didn't think anyone would every love her.

but she said it back, i love you too louis. since that is and always has been the truth.

jealousy never really did anything for her. it made her life more horrid thinking that everyone else was better than her.

she wanted to be someone else.

when in reality she was perfect the way she was, as louis would say.
