Ghost P.O.V
------------------
In the inside I'm hoping that she didn't just get killed by the fallen that were after me."Come on! I've been here for 15 minutes! How much longer can you take warlock?!" I mumble angrily and decide to stop scanning her, giving up hope.
I turned around and started moving away from her. I look back at her and sadly sighed. I really thought I was going to find someone.... I then continued on my long walk towards what I suppose will be my death.
"H-hey.... where am I?"
I stop dead on my tracks. "Did I just hear that right?" I think to myself.
"Hey, floaty thingy. Can you tell me where I am?"
When I turn around I can see that the warlock is slowly getting up. She's wearing some garments that make her look like she's a homeless person. Oh wait...
She is homeless at this point.
"Umm, hi guardian. I will be your ghost."
"Guardian? Ghost? What's going on???"
----------------
Warlock's P.O.V"What on earth is this thi- Ghost talking about...." I think to myself
"I'm a guardian? What's that supposed to mean!"
He looked a bit started, and then when I saw him look over to his left he quickly glanced at me and said, "There's no time to explain. just follow me."
"Um, okay." I shrugged and started following him.
"Wow, this place sure has changed since I can last remember. Rusty old cars, barely any vegetation, and abandoned buildings from what it looks like. My question is.... what on earth happened?"
I'm snapped out of my thoughts when I bump into someone, or well something.
"Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to.."
I apologize. The thing turned around and growled at me. Taking out a knife from its pocket and threatening to stab me with it.
I smirked and closed my right hand charging it.
"Come at me thi-"
"Dreg" my ghost interrupedI rolled my eyes and repeated, "Come at me Dreg"
The moment the words escaped my lips the Dreg rushed towards me. Just as his knife was about to make contact with me I lifted up my hand and let out void energy that pushed him back, and made him let go of the knife.
I walked up to him and grabbed the knife and put it up to his neck. "You shouldn't mess the horns buddy." And with that I cut his throat, killing him.
"Nice work guardian!" my ghost said after getting a look at the dead dreg.
"Ghost, ou can just call me Samy" I said with a smile
"Okay, Samy it is then"
I shook my head at my ghost for repeating it, but hey. It's not like I know my way around these parts anyways.
"Hey ghost..." I said quietly as I followed my ghost to who knows where.
"Yes, what is it?" he said, looking straight ahead.
"Why did you pick me?"
He stopped dead on his tracks, which made my heart skip a beat in fear, not wanting to know anymore.
"Well, first off it's not like I had a choice" I frowned and he going forward again.
"What do you mean you didn't have a choice?" I put my hands in the air angrily
"Well, I was getting chased by Fallen."
"Fallen?" I cocked my eyebrow "Is that what he thing I killed was?"
"No" he replied "he was a dreg, but is part of the fallen."
"Ah, okay." I put my head down and stayed silent for the rest of the walk. Until we stopped at a pitch black area.
"Okay, who turned off the lights?" I say angrily with a Frown on my face.
"Here, I'll fix it." he said as he shone his bright beam to our surroundings. From what it looked like, it seemed as if it was an abandoned factory that used to create who knows what.
"Woah..." Was all I managed to say before hearing a lot of lid growls and screeches
"Seems like we're not alone here..." he said a bit shakily.
"Yeah..." I whispered, but then realization hit me like a pile of bricks and I gasped.
"I-I can't take out all of them. I could probably only take out one or two, but not when I'll probably have a horde of them!"
I kept on ranting while pacing back and forth in panic.
"Hey, look! I found an auto rifle over here!" My ghost said somewhat calmly.
I stopped pacing and ran towards him and the auto rifle, and picked it up. Examining it carefully, and then held it like I was supposed to.
"Huh... not bad for a plain auto rifle." I said with a smirk, even if my ghost couldn't see it because of my helmet.
I set the gun on my back and kept on walking till we got to a dark hallway. "Hang on, this is way too suspicious...." I wispered.
"Yeah. I don't think they'll let us just pass through here so easily" he said scanning the area carefully.
I bent down in one knee and placed my hand on the ground. Closing my eyes I concentrated, trying to see if I could sense any sign of energy. In a matter of seconds I sensed about four or five fallen hiding. I guess planning some sort of sneak attack.
I stand back up, my ghost looking at me worriedly.
"Umm..."
"Don't worry ghost. I know where they're at now." he nodded at me and disappeared, leaving sparkles behind. I backed away a few steps and looked around to make sure that I didn't just see my ghost disappear.
"Don't worry, I'm still here. lets just keep a move on."
I nodded and kept on walking through the dark hallway. Aiming my gun, awaiting for what was to come.
