20/ Blackmail

I woke up the next morning with strong arms wrapped around me, I smiled and looked at him his light snores comforting me I kissed his cheek and closed my eyes. It was still about 8am and theres no way Colby would wake up anytime soon. I fell back asleep for about three more hours. I then got up and shook Colby. "Babe, wake up." i said. He groaned "5 more minutes." I rolled my eyes and got on top of him my legs on both sides. I started shaking him and it made us bounce a little bit "mmm keep doing that." He moaned and then chuckled. I rolled my eyes and got off of him. "Noooo." He whined "Come back." "Colby i have to go." I said. I had to get back home so i could change and take a shower. He rolled his eyes "Fine. Want a ride?" He asked "Sure." I simply said. He got dressed and we put our shoes on. He grabbed his keys and we left to his car we got in and i opened up my phone i was scrolling through instagram and i see Colby looking at me from the corner of my eye "What?" I giggle "Nothing." He smiled and focused his gaze back at the road. I shook my head and put my phone away. We arrived at my apartment complex and he walked me upstairs. I kissed him and said bye. I walked inside and saw Olivia and Brennen passed out on the couch i lightly giggled and walked upstairs to my room. I went to my closet and picked out an outfit then headed to the shower. I left my hair down and got dressed:

i fell back on my bed about to fall asleep. I felt a vibration which scared me i opened up my phone and furrowed my eyes in confusion i got a text from an unknown number i was a bit scared but i opened it:

I ingnored what the person said and put my phone back down. I looked up at the ceiling and thought 'Who's this person and what do they have to do with me and Colby...?' I asked myself "What is happening?" I say louder. Then i got another text:

Then i started getting mad. I threw my phone at my mirror on the wall and it smashed into pieces. I went over to the glass "I cant let my friends die." i whispered to myself "i have to do it" I added. Then my door opened and Olivia was standing there with Brennen both of them were looking at the glass in front of me. "Ava what happened?" Brennen asked. "Nothing Im fine." I lied, i went down on my knees and started picking up the glass on the floor there was blood on my palm since it cut me a bit but i didn't seem to care at all. I just kept picking it up. "Ava get up." Olivia said and helped me up. She took me to the bathroom and cleaned my hand. "What happened?" She asked "I dont wanna talk about it." I said "I won't stop until you tell me." She said. "Fine. Im getting blackmailed my i dont even know who" I said "What did they say?" Brennen chimed in. I went out to the broken mirror and grabbed my phone which was a bit cracked i opened it and showed them the messages. "Oh wow" Brennen said "I know." I said "Let me call Colby." He said "No dont." I said "I have to, it involves him." He said "Fine." I said and sighed. I had a bandage wrapped around my hand nd it was kinda annoying but i didn't really care. I walked out to my room and sat down on my bed. "I need to find out who that is." I said mainly to myself but Olivia heard me and replied "It won't be that easy." I rolled my eyes "I know but im not giving up until i do." I said to her now. Brennen walked and sat down beside me. We sat there thinking about who it could be. Then we heard a knock on the door Colby got here and we opened the door, "What happened to your hand?" He asked me "I just cut myself." "Okay so why did you call me?" He asked Brennen now. "She's getting blackmailed." He replied "By who?" Colby asked "We're gonna leave you guys alone" Brennen said and walked away with Olivia. I sat on the counter and gave him my now cracked phone he read the messages and we sat there in silence "I might know who it is..." He said
