The Struggle

Have you ever went to a party one night, came back home with a really cute girl that only thinks of you as a friend, and find your parents dead on the ground as soon as you enter your house? No? I didnt think so. Let me explain from beginning to end on how it all went down and in the end you can tell me if ive gone crazy or not. My name is Nathan im 16 years old and ive lived in Virginia for as long as i can remember with the best parents anyone could ask for. Let me take you back the night of the party...The night i found my parents dead.

September 10th (5:30 A.M)

"Nathan!" I heard my mom whispering but kinda yelling at me. I shot up as if i heard a knocking in my closet and i was just about to piss myself. I answered with a "What is it mom?" As i rubbed my eyes to see that she was peeking her head through my door only to tell me "You missed the bus hurry up and get dressed you only got 5-10 minutes to get to school."

I nodded and she left the room leaving me alone. I got up and walked to the opposite side of my room to get dressed, i liked most of my clothes because let me admit they do kinda look good on me as i chuckled at the thought i got some socks, boxers, jeans, and a shirt on. I made my way downstairs to give my mom the daily kiss on the cheek and a "Ill see you soon." And with that i was off and on my bike making my way to school.

(5:45 A.M.)

I usually leave my bag in my locker unless i have homework so on occasions i dont look stupid riding my bike, i entered the school and made my way to my locker when i was greeted with a waving angel that was near my locker "Marcy". Dont get me wrong she only views me as a friend but i view her as more than a friend but lets just keep that between us. Alright? Well i approached my locker like normally and struck up a conversation "So this whole you and dus-" as i was cut off "dont mention him right now im mad at him" she said and looked away.

I knew when to keep my mouth shut about certain things because thats all i ever did...that and think way to much but i dont find that to be a problem because nobody can ever get in my head. Nobody other than me lol. She turned back at me asking "Are you going to go to HIS party tonight with me? I could really use you there." I was kinda startled with the question knowing that nobody usually invited me to parties i finally spat out the words "i mean..i guess it could be fun." As i finally unlocked my locker not trying to look at her and embarrass my self.

She responded with "theres gonna be alot of cute girls there so bring your A game" as she smiled and i turned as red as a tomatoe i calmed down and looked back at her and said "none that look like y-" as i once again was cut off by the minute bell she looked up at me asking "What were you gonna say?"

i responded with "Nothing. At. All." She laughed and said "ill see you at that party tonight." And dashed off leaving me alone at my locker thinking "Damn shes gonna make it a struggle just to get with her" i chuckled again like when i was in my room and ran for my bext class only to be stopped by a big jock that i knew woulf bring trouble....Dustin.
