Chap 4

I was woken up at 10 am by a maid her name tag said she was called Marie.

“here is your breakfast miss “she said politely

“thank you Marie” I said

I sat down and ate the toast me and the prince had become friends sort of, he didn’t boss me to do anything he let me out of the room and he gave me anything I wanted except one thing, the thing I wanted most... Freedom. He refused to let me out of the castle grounds, he said that if I escaped the king would have to kill me or turn me and I didn’t want either of them terrible things to happen.

I bet you are thinking, why don’t you whip out your wand and zap ya self out of there, well I have not learnt the spell for that and I'm not that powerful you see my mother is full witch and a powerful one at that but my father is a demon, so they created me a half breed, I am the only one of my kind and no one know what I am except my parents obviously.

When I get mad my demon side takes over and I am unstoppable using my witch side to help it, I cause mass destruction and nothing can save me so beware. But this has not happened for years and when that happened lets just say it wasn’t pretty and neither was the girls face after.

When it does take over I look the same but my eyes are blood red instead of my light brown eyes I have now. When I turn 16 I get a power to control each witches is different so I don’t know what mine will be, my mother’s is that she can fly. My father says it will be able to cause major damage and will be half good half evil. I can’t wait my birthdays come quickly because for demons we have a birthday every 6 months but we still look our demon age. My mother says that when I turn 16 I will stop aging.

Just then Prince Jacob came into my room.

“Hey bff” he said all girly

“Its official vampires should not speak slang” I criticised

He told me to get ready to go to the beach because I have been good.

I got a polka dot bikini out of my drawer and pulled out my wand waved it around a little and was wearing the bikini, small magic doesn’t require you to say a spell which is much appreciated by me because I don’t know a bikini spell. I turned my wand a bit smaller so it was about the size of lipstick now and put it in my jacket pocket, usually my wand was about the size of 24cm (just smaller then a ruler), I went to the car and another servant opened the door for me, I hopped in a looked at Jacob as he was gawking at me.

“You going to start the car or are we walking” I asked he snapped out of the trance and we started driving.

I can see why he was staring at me the only thing I had on was short shorts and a leather jacket over my bikini.

“So when do you turn 16 Leah?”

“In a month’s” I replied while brushing my hair “when do you turn 100”I said rather rudely

“Haha about 6 years ago” he answered

I was shocked he only looked 18 or 19, he talked like a teenager and he wasn’t a stuck up old person. I whipped the shocked look off my face and concentrated on the road though I wasn’t driving.

“Why were you wondering” I Asked him.

“I wanted to know when your powers came in” he said.

I was amazed how he knew.

“What powers” I pretended

“I know you’re half witch and half demon, I'm not stupid” he said stubbornly
