The Summer Before Highschool

Chapter 1

I was like any other teenage girl, moody and unpredictable the only difference between me and other girls is my love for school. I enjoyed it which was weird according to my  sister Abigail. Abigail is A 6 grader so her opinion doesn't phase me. Anyways school was coming to a end shortly and summer would began, ugh. I never really did much during summer but write short stories. I couldn't help but think the summer before my freshman year would be horrific. The first day of summer rolled around and Abigail asked me to take her to the public pool. Which we only had one in the very small town of Jackson, Kentucky. When we arrived Abigail ran off with her friends and left me stranded all alone, so I went and started to tan so I don't look completely like a ghost my freshman year. I was switching to back so I can tan my back and in the corner of my eye I saw the most stunning life guard ever. He clearly saw me too he looked over and shot me a smile. Oh his smile made me melt.
