[name]'s shoulders were tense as he felt the breeze blow through his hair. He gulped loudly, glancing behind him. Why did he always feel so afraid? Why did he always feel like someone was watching him? He had been feeling like this for months now and it was driving him insane.
He just wanted to feel safe again.
A twig snapping behind him made him stop and look behind him, eyes wide and short breaths leaving his lips.
Beside him, his best friend Nagisa looked at him sympathetically. "There's no one there, [name]." He said softly. [name] had told him all about how he had been feeling. That's why he decided to walk home with him. He hoped that would ease his mind.
"But didn't you hear that?" He replied back, eyes darting back and forth.
"It was probably just a cat or something. Not a person." Nagisa reached to the side and grabbed his hand, pulling him to look forward again and hugging the taller male. "Calm down, okay? You're safe."
[name] frowned, wrapping his arms around Nagisa and holding him tightly. He hated this. He hated that Nagisa felt the need to protect him. He didn't want to seem like a coward. "Sorry. I'm acting like a baby."
"Don't worry about it." Nagisa said with a small smile and blush, snuggling more into him.
However, Nagisa hadn't been right. It hadn't been an animal that made that noise, it had been a human, one that followed [name] wherever he went and at the moment, he was burning with rage at seeing the two embracing.
Karma bared his teeth in a growl, clenching his fists. He had to stop himself from sprinting forward and killing the blue haired boy. He shouldn't be touching [name] like that. Only Karma was allowed to touch him.
He watched as the two parted and began on their walk again. He slowly followed behind, making sure to keep a good distance and not making anymore noise. He didn't want to risk getting caught.
They arrived in front of [name]'s house and the two hugged again before Nagisa went on his own way home and [name] went inside. Karma kept his eyes on Nagisa. He couldn't let what had happened go unpunished.
He couldn't handle being hidden in the shadows anymore. If he didn't make himself known, Nagisa would steal [name] away from him and he couldn't let that happen.
So, instead of going to the tree where he would usually sit and look into [name]'s room, he followed Nagisa home, waiting until the day turned to night before he snuck into the house.
His footsteps were quiet across the floor and he had s sharp knife by his side. He glided towards Nagisa's room and quietly opened the door, sneaking inside and closing it behind him.
