Taehyung knew Irene was going to be late so there was no point in texting her. He prepared dinner for the both of them since it's been so long since they had dinner face to face.

Today was supposed to be special since she promised Taehyung she would be there, Taehyung knew he shouldn't have believed her words. He sighed and finished eating his food and placed it in the sink. He knew Irene's food would go to waste if he left it out so he placed the plate in the fridge.

Just as he was about to go upstairs the door opened, of course it was Irene. She placed her bag on the couch and went to greet Taehyung, she kissed him on the cheek. "I'm so sorry, my boss told me to stay because one of my coworkers didn't finish their work so I had to finish it for them." Taehyung knew it was another one of her lies, she would always blink twice when she lied.

"Where's the food?" Taehyung pointed at the fridge and she went to open it. "Let's stay down stairs and eat." Taehyung didn't feel like talking to her anymore, he knew she was fucking her boss behind Taehyung's back. "I'm sorry but I feeling kinda tired." Irene nodded.

"I'll see you in the morning. " Although they slept in the same bed they felt distant. She really only stayed with him because she pitied him. Taehyung lost his mother when he was 13, his father was never home. He would always come he with different women getting each one pregnant, So his father never paid attention to him. He ran away from home when he was 17, he was luckily able to support himself financially.

He then met Irene at College and they feel in love. Back then Irene did in fact love him, now he's not too sure. He stared at the wall. He couldn't sleep. Thoughts of Irene being with someone else were running through his head. He felt Irene lay next to him, her arm wrapped around his waist. "Goodnight Taehyungie, love you." Taehyung only hummed in response.

Taehyung woke up to an empty space next to him. He was use to it so he never worried much about it. He got ready for work, his shift started at 10:30 so he had enough time. 'I wonder what she's doing, why doesn't she love me? Am I not enough for her? Maybe it's cause I'm fat?' Taehyung's insecurities began to rush through his head. He thought of many reasons why she wouldn't love him anymore.

Taehyung did love Irene..... Or maybe that's what he taught himself to think. 'I should love her right? We do love each other.... Right??' He was stressing out too much about it so he went outside to take a deep breath. He walked to the pet store, knowing it was the only place that made him happy. He smiled at the puppies at the window. He entered the store to hear no stop barking, meowing, hissing, sqeaks, and other noises.

He greeted the owner of the shop and went to look around. He passed by the dogs and little kittens. He then walked past the rodents when he notices a tiny black spotted brown bunny. He cooed at the smallness of the bunny. He took the bunny out of the cage and went to the owner. "Hello, how much for this little rabbit? "

The old man frowned "I highly doubt you want that rabbit, he's a naughty rabbit alright." The old man started talking bad about the tiny little bunny but Taehyung only smiled innocently in return. "Aish, you know what. For you to take that rabbit off my hands I'll give him to you for 2 dollars" Taehyung smiled brightly. "It's a deal!" He gave the old man 2 dollars and happily walked to his house.

Once he arrived he placed the bunny on the floor. The tiny rabbit was exploring the room but then plopped him self in front of Taehyung's foot. The rabbit then went to explore the house and the saw a perfect place to shit on the floor.

He went to grab the rabbit and ran to the pet store. He barged into the store and went to confront the owner about the rabbit. "Sir I can't keep this rabbit can you take him back!" The man pointed to a sign above him that said 'No refunds' Taehyung groaned. "What did the rabbit do this time?"

"He shit on my floor!" The old man tried not to laugh. "That's a first, usually he destroys everything but maybe he really likes you?" The man started laughing. Taehyung only glared in return. "I'm sorry young man but there's no way I'm taking back that rabbit."

Taehyung walked out the store with a tired rabbit in his hand. 'The little shit is so cute but yet so fucking nasty at the same time' Taehyung arrived at his house. "I gotta get to work it's almost 10:10" Taehyung placed the rabbit down and went to grab his bags. "He was going to leave when the rabbit stopped him in his tracks. "I'm sorry little buddy but I gotta get to work." Taehyung stepped the rabbit aside and went heading to work.
