There was a simple girl, she desired one thing. That was to make a doll, that all the world could see. She went fast to work on her doll. She carefully and thoughtfully carved out a shape she thought was perfect, from a beautiful piece of dark wood. She then went to work on painting it's face, she made her doll with beautiful brown eyes, two round eyebrows, a big smile for the world to see, and freckles all over her cheeks. After her face the simple girl made the doll a shirt and some jeans. Last but not least, the simple girl carefully attached the dolls curly dark hair, that reached to her hips, and down to her knees.

Once she was done she showed it to the world, but the world was not pleased. "Her hair is to curly!" The world yelled at the simple girl. So she took the doll and burned her hair straight.

The whole time the doll screamed and cried " Please don't do this! I like my hair how it is!" But the simple girl didn't listen. After all she wanted the perfect doll to show the world.

After she was done she showed the world again and just like before the world yelled "Now the hairs to long! She can't even walk!"

So, the simple girl went back to work on the doll. She started to chop off the dolls hair. The doll screamed and cried the whole time "No don't! I like my long hair!" But the simple girl did not care. She didn't stop until her hair was all gone.
