Fairy Tail one shot lucy x natsu

Part 2

(Ummm....sup?*hides from mad readers* so...I know I had promised a date to post this-but obviously I didn't. Sorry. Well..here it is...I guess..*laughs nervously* And this is the THIRD time I have tried uploading this-and so-I was almost done writing it-I LITERALLY had two more sentences to type- when my iPod died. So I ran to find a charger-and when I was able to check this again-IT DELETED EVERYTHING. TT^TT so read on!)

Lucy and Natsu ran away from the angry townspeople laughing into the safety of the forrest. Sure-Nastu destroyed a port- but hey-Lucy and the other girls aren't slaves now are they?
On top of that-Lucy was super excited. She was going to be a member of Fairy Tail!!
She was just ecstatic. While they were running, she even came up with different scenarios in her head of what might happen.

The first one involved her meeting and becoming good friends with Mirajane. Of course-Lucy didn't expect that to happen-but hey, she could dream.
The next one involved her becoming a well known mage in Fairy Tail-and be loved by everyone.
Once again-she didn't expect that to happen. (But it still did)
The last one was her favorite. It involved her meeting the love if her life there. Lucy had imagined it to go like this:
"Lucy?" Upon hearing her name, Lucy turned around to see who had called her. It was a handsome young man who was blushing ever so slightly. Lucy blushed even more, and smiled lightly,"Yes?"
"Well-I-I know we haven't known each other for very long, but-but I think that-that well, we have this connection that, that is pretty strong. So I-I've been thinking about how to say this-and well..." He sighed and messed around with his hair. "Well maybe I should just...show you..."
Then he gently held onto her jaw and kissed her just as gently. Sparks flew and Lucy kissed back, surprised at first. The mages of Fairy Tail cheered and shot off fireworks.
Of course, this was all over the top, but I will say it again-it was all her fantasies. But one thing was bugging her. Every time she imagined this-the young man was always Natsu.
While in her dreamy state, Natsu had stopped running and so Lucy ran into him and fell onto her butt.
"Sorry," she said bashfully.
Natsu shrugged and turned around to help her up. "That was a close one huh Loony?" He said as he pulled her up.
"Lucy."
"I know." He teased.

Lucy rolled her eyes as she dusted off her behind. She sat down on a nearby rock and noticed how quiet it was. She turned around and found out why. A certain cat was asleep.
"Hey Natsu," Lucy whispered,"Happy's out."
Natsu stopped in mid-stretch and turned around to see an adorable young lady picking up his cute cat gently, like a child. She looked around for something to lay him down on that was a bit more comfortable.
Nastu smiled and pulled out a pillow he had in his bag, along with a small blanket. She laid him down and together they put the blanket on. Natsu looked over and brushed some of Lucy's golden hair out of her face.
Lucy blushed and laughed softly,"Well I guess we're camping here tonight." Nastu nodded and pulled out his sleeping bag.
" I only have one sleeping bag-so we're gonna have to share." He was turned away from Lucy, so she couldn't see how red he was at first.
Lucy gulped and nodded, now her face turning red. ,"A-alright." Natsu turned around and smiled as if this was totally normal-which Lucy would have believed that smile if his face wasn't still a light shade of pink.
"I'm gonna go get some firewood. After I light it up-I'll climb in with you. So go ahead and get in."
Lucy smiled weakly and watched Natsu's retreating figure. When she couldn't see him anymore she slowly got in the sleeping bag. After a few minutes she started to drift off-but snapped awake when the sleeping bag was opened and a warm body was inside the bag with her.
Natsu zipped it back up. "It's gonna be a tight fit Luce."
Lucy laughed nervously and shivered. Natsu felt this, and wrapped his arms around her pulling her closer. "Being a fire mage has it's benefits. One of them Is being warm. Here-if you get cold just snuggle up to me alright?"
"Alright." Lucy's face burnt red and she snuggled up to his body, to cold to resist.
Eventually, Lucy heard Natsu's breathing grow even, so she assumed he was asleep. Key word-assumed.
She was growing more and more awake as Natsu held her closer like a teddy bear. So she looked up and saw his sleeping face, so handsome and peaceful. Lucy traced every inch of his face until she fell onto his lips.
Natsu's lips were pulled up slightly into a smile, so Lucy assumed that he was having a good dream, not a good night. She noticed she had been moving up toward his lips, and quickly stopped herself. She only knew this guy for one day....but still...
She tried to turn away to stop herself from kissing this young man, but she couldn't. Natsu just held her tighter. So she was stuck in his embrace. Lucy didn't mind-not one bit-but Natsu's lips...were distracting her...
'Well...he IS asleep...so he won't know if I kiss him...'
Natsu's lips looked even more kissable now. So Lucy quickly leaned up and kissed him. She then closed her eyes for a moment, savoring the way he tasted, and pulled away. Lucy surprisingly was then able to sleep better.
Remember when I said she assumed he was awake? Well that's because Natsu really wasn't asleep.

...so he smiled.
He liked this Fairy Tale so far.
