Heejin closed her laptop and looked at her clock. '6 in the morning. Great.' She thought. She looked like a wreck. Her eyes were puffy and her hair was tangled in frustration. She wanted to skip school but she couldn't risk being physically dragged out of her house by Kim Jiwoo again.
She was barely walking out of her house when she was tackled by the said girl.
"Heejin! Just the girl I was looking for!" Jiwoo screamed. Heejin felt bad for her neighbors.
"Jiwoo I'm the only person you look for in the morning." Heejin said as she linked arms with Jiwoo.
"I know but that's possibly going to change!" Jiwoo grew extremely hyper and shook Heejin.
"You know Sooyoung and Jungeun right? The seniors?" Heejin nodded her head. Not knowing what to do as she just wanted to stop being shaked.
Jiwoo squealed and continued to talk. "They both came and confessed to me yesterday. I don't know what to do! I feel like I'm on the Bachlorette or something! Should I give them roses?!" Heejin giggled. She knew Jiwoo was one to ramble but she didn't expect that.
"Jiwoo sort your feelings out first. Then, figure out who you like the most." Jiwoo pouted.
"Easy for you to say ms. never has liked someone. " Heejin blushed. Should she tell Jiwoo about her dreams? She was her best friend so it didn't matter.
"Actually I need to talk to you..." She began. Suddenly Jiwoo screeched. "Oh my god! You like someone?! Heejin I never thought this day would come!"
Heejin shyly smiled "I do but it's quite complicated.." Heejin seemed rather nervous now. Jiwoo chuckled.
"What do they have someone already? Is it Chaewon? She's dating Hyejoo and they're in an extremely good relationship, but something is off. I just know it!" Jiwoo said as she rubbed her chin.
Heejin's eyes grew wide. Oh gosh if Hyejoo was here and she heard that Jiwoo would be six feet under already.
"Jiwoo no! It's actually uh... Okay so you see... IlikethisgirlbutIonlyseeherinmydreamssoIdontknowwhattodo" She blurted out. It sounded extremely stupid now that she looked back on it.
Jiwoo stopped walking. She looked Heejin dead in the eye and simply said "you're kidding right?" Heejin took a moment to adjust and replied with "no I'm dead serious"
Jiwoo was laughing so hard now. Her laugh breaking up as her lungs were tightening from the laughter.
Heejin pouted. "Jiwoo this is NOT the time to laugh! I'm head over heels for someone I don't even know in real life!" Jiwoo started settling down now.
"Do you at least know her name?" She asked.
"Uh.... you see I'm working on that" Jiwoo widened her eyes now.
"You're really telling me you fell for your "dream girl" And you don't even know her name?!" Jiwoo asked. She was questioning if she should put Heejin in a psychological ward.
"Bingo. Now can we continue going to school?" Heejin asked. Already tired of the conversation. She did like that Jiwoo didn't run off telling people though.
"Sure, but you have to keep me updated. Oh and also can I borrow your science homework? It's for a.... Special someone" Jiwoo said as she winked. Heejin looked disgusted.
"Jiwoo just say you forgot to do the homework. It's not that hard."

(Time skip 🥴)Heejin walked slowly back home. She was alone since Jiwoo accepted Sooyoung's confession. They were probably on a stroll at a park or something.
Heejin kicked a pebble around. Enjoying the quiet. Jiwoo's voice rang through her again.
"Do you at least know her name?"
She wants to know the answer to that question so badly. How could she find out? Summoning a demon? Making up one? What does she do in a situation like this?
One word. Frustrating.

Heejin woke up suddenly. She sat on her bed as she tried to comprehend what she heard.
"Hyunjin... Kim Hyunjin" She said, unable to process the fact that the unknown girl just said that.
Had she finally gotten a name to match a face? She feels that she has.
Heejin looked out of her window and stared at the moon. She was surely getting somewhere. She just didn't know where exactly.
