Music: Birds by Imagine Dragons

Little birds are nestled in a nest for a reason- to keep them away from danger, to not let them see the cruel world that is waiting for them below the tree where their nest is located.
Their mother bird taked care of them when they were still young. She even flew around the chilly December night to find food or in the middle of a heavy rain just to make sure that her little birds will have something to eat. She always makes sure they're comfortable and happy.
But, nothing is permanent, some things will change and you won't have a choice but to accept it. Time will come that the mother bird will leave her little ones and let them live on their own.
The little birdies, now grown up beautiful birds, will part their ways. The past few months they have spent together waiting for their mother in their nest, will slowly become a memory. They will start to fly alone, to chase their own dreams and live their own journeys.
Sometimes, there are things that you don't have the power to the change according to what you want. The mother bird can't keep her little ones in the small, crowded nest forever. She needs to set them free someday so that they will have better futures. Even if it leaves her no one to live with.
The same goes for the little birds, they can't be together forever, because they will have to grow, even if it means growing apart.
It's just so scary. Scary because they don't know the things that they will see once they start their journey, once they leave the tiny little nest that nestled them for a couple of months.
Scary because they don't have anyone to depend on once things get worse and they have to face the consequences of their actions on their own.
Scary, because they might meet again not as a team as they were yesterday but as each other's enemy tomorrow.
It's very scary because they are used to be together but they don't have a choice but to part ways now.
Me? I'm their mother and I just wish that their future is worth the pain and loneliness they will all feel as they grow up.
