Set It Off and springtime. Two things that go together. Though much of us don't actually go outside, it's still nice to have the windows open.

You see, Pistol loves having the windows open, so she could sit on the window sill, enjoying a breeze if there is one.

Crash though, he loves to bark until I take him on a walk, which isn't a big deal to me because I enjoy taking him on walks.

It a lovely time to go outside, to enjoy the sun, the warmth from the sun. Birds are singing, it's a lovely time to actually do something.

Until it starts raining, and the rain never-ending. It's a drought, brought to our town every year, it's not the hurricanes; it's just rain. People still go to work, school, parks. Until the first death happens.

It just put a sad and dangerous mood on everyone.

The rain though, it always starts on March 26, every. single. year. The murder, it differs.

Always 7 days after the official spring date, March 19. Nobody knows what causes it, it's like a curse.

I've asked people who live outside of our town to see if it happens to them, and everyone says that it doesn't happen to them.

That's where we are now. Zach, Cody, and I sitting in our living room, discussing what the next move should be if we can play outside, in the rain.

Something I forgot to mention is that a person, each year is ignored. It's like a curse or something, and the only thing that helps. Everyone knows who the person is, the year prior to the up-coming one.

This year was different for an unknown reason.

The person that doesn't exist anymore wasn't announced, it was quiet. Nothing from our mayor or anything. Nobody brought it up either, it was as if the curse didn't exist. Or as if

"What are we going to do about the cur-?" Zach brought into the conversation.

"Nothing!" I cut him off, "We're going to enjoy Easter."

Zach and Cody give me weird looks.

Getting up to leave, Cody and Zach give me weird looks. I give them the same look and head up the stairs.

Being on the stairs I hear muttering coming from the living room, from where I just was. Still continuing up the stairs and until my bedroom door is standing in front of me.

Going in I was greeted with Pistol sitting on the window, enjoying the breeze.

"What's up?" I ask, walking over to her. Getting closer to her I reach out my hand to pet her. The response I get is her purring and leaning into my hand.

"Alright," I chuckle, before leaving her to sit at my desk chair.

Turning on my computer getting ready to set up the switch to play Animal Crossing. Then, getting ready to stream.

Upon waking up I hear Mateo and Crash barking outside of my door.

"What?" I mutter to myself, getting out of the bed.

Having Pistol right at my feet, I open the door to have Pistol go out and to see Mateo and Crash at my door.

"What's this?" I chuckle, heading to the direction of the stairs.
