Destined to meet

The hospital

"Oh my God, is she going to be okay", I hear Sophia saying vaguely. "This is all my fault, I distracted her because I destroyed her bag", Carter said. "Guys, please remain calm, this is not helping", Steven said. I saw some light flashing by and then my eyes closed.

I opened my eyes to find myself lying in an unfamiliar bed. Where the fuck am I? What is happening? I recognize that horrible sterile smell and noticed a beeping sound. Am I in a freaking hospital? I looked beside me and saw Carter sleeping in a chair. Could somebody explain to me what the hell I'm doing in the freaking hospital? I tried to speak but noticed that I was too weak to even talk. I was feeling horrible and suddenly my head was bouncing and hurting like never before.

Then I Miguel walked into the room. I was feeling a warm feeling inside of me. "Hey, beautiful, so good too see that you're awake. I was so worried about you", he said while rushing to my bed. He was sitting beside me. I was trying to say something to him "Ww..what happened", I whispered. He looked serious and grabbed my hand. "You hit your head on a rock while surfing, I was lucky enough to fish you out of the water and getting you to breathe again. I did everything in my power to save you, but while you were breathing again you stayed unconscious and you were losing a lot of blood. We called the ambulance and they fixed your wound and examined you in the hospital. The told us that you need to rest and we were still waiting till you wake up. I'm so glad that you're awake", he said while he was stroking my hand. He looks so freaking adorable and was giving me a really safe feeling. But I couldn't really realize that I nearly died today. I am so freaking thankful to be alive. Miguel noticed that I was drifting away in my thoughts. "It's going to be fine Isabelle, trust me. I will be there for you", he said while smiling. I looked at Miguel. "I don't know how I could ever thank you. You saved my life. I owe you", I said nearly crying. 

"You don't own me anything, Isabelle. Oh wait maybe a skinny dip adventure", he said smiling while winking to me. I wanted to laugh so hard, but the pain stopped me. "Than skinny-dip it is", I said laughing carefully. Suddenly there was a phone ringtone went of. "Oops that's mine, sorry have to take this", Miguel said.

Seconds later the room was filled with a loud scream. "AHHHHHHHH, OMG, BABE, YOUR'E AWAKE", Carter said screaming while jumping up from her chair to run to my bed. I was laughing. The screaming wasn't really helping with my headache, but I was really happy to see her face. 

"After two days I was afraid that you were going to be sleeping forever like sleeping beauty, but thank God, you're awake", Carted said while trying to hug me. Wait I was in here for two days. Holy shit.

After a few minutes, Miguel entered the room again. "Hey guys, I just got a call from my business partner Chris. Apparently, he broke his foot and his in the hospital as well. I'm going to drive him to his home and then I will come back", Miguel said. "Oh, that's not nescerrary Miguel. You need some rest", I said. "Isabelle your not getting easily rid of me, as I said before I will be there for you", he said while staring into my eyes. And that moment reminded me of all the good romance books and movies I love so much. He was making my heart glow.
