Chapter 2

Petter is standing at the door with my best friend.

"Alex?" I say "what are you doing here"

"He is here for the movie night remember" Petter says. Oh yeah the movie night this is going to horrible I think to myself.

"You ok Abby?" Jerid askes.

"I'm fine Jerid but I forgot to get snacks for the movies" I say but the look that Alex is giving me tells me he knows I'm worried. Jerid hated Alex for some stupid reason. I hate it but its ok.

"Alex stop looking at her like that" Jerid says harshly "she's my girlfriend I can only stare at her!" Jerid looks pissed but he won't do anything when Petters here. Thank god he is or there would be a fight. Jerid is scared of Petter but who isnt he is tall, really muscly and he is the quarter back of the football team. He is also my twin we look nothing alike though I'm short and have long red hair my body is fit but I don't have abs like my brother. Petter is tall has blond wavy hair and looks like he spends hours a day in the gym.

"Stop fighting and let's go to the store to get some food." Petter says. We don't say anything but we nod and we start walking to the door.

"Can you not have him over"Jerid says.

"Jerid he is my only friend. Please stop acting like this." I whisper to him. But it doesn't help. He looks at me fumming mad. Oh shit I shouldn't have said that i think to myself.

"Do not ever talk back to me". Jerid says raising his hand about to smack me. I close my eyes waiting for the hit, but it never comes. I open my eyes and see Jerid walking away to the car. I feel my eyes burning for I blink the tears away.

"Sis hurry up" Petter yells from the car. I run to the car and get on the passenger seat next to Petter he doesn't know what happened so that's good I think.

"Abby you ok you look like you're sick." Alex says

"I'm fine don't worry." Not bothering to look at Jerid.

The ride to the store was silent except the music playing.

When we got to the store I go to the candy aisle, and grab my favorite candy. Mini m&ms.

When we all get to the register with our snacks we all look at what everyone got. Jerid got ice cream, petter got yogurt and strawberrys, and Alex got the same as me.

"Can I drive?" I ask. All the guys looked at me if I was on fire.

"Oh hell no" Jerid said making me a little sad I never get to drive.

Petter looks at me and then at Jerid and nods his head giving me the keys. Jerid starts to yell at me but Petter looks at him and he shuts up instantly. They all climb in the car and I get in and drive us home on edge I'll pay for this later.

When we got home Jerid pulled me away from everyone and pushed me up on the wall. He was pissed and I was so scared.

"Why did you drive Abigail" he says harshly and hits my ribs I feel a pop and he heard it but he doesn't stop he hit so much till I pass out.

When I wake up I'm in my room I hear people talking I think its my mom but then I think about it and I realise she's dead. So I open my eyes and see my brother and Jerid looking worried Alex is gone.
