Once upon a time were two twin goddesses.
The older goddess Pan was making the sun rise at dawn. The younger Nyx took care of raising the moon after dark.
It is said that once a year Pan come down in the form of an animal with golden horns to contemplate the Earth at dusk.Over time Nyx began to become jealous of her twin. In the day the inhabitants of the Earth played and nature was shining. But after dark nature and the inhabitants of the Earth slept and didn't enjoy the beautiful night that Nyx offered them. Nyx, jealous of her sister wanted to have her power and secretly conspired against her.
Arrow boy was an orphan who loved nature and walk at dusk every night before going to bed. One day, he saw the goddess Pan come down to Earth in the form of a buffalo with golden horns. Since then he returns every year to the same place to see the goddess come down at dusk in a different form.
One year the goddess descended on Earth in the form of a deer with golden horns and as every year he came to admire her. That day Nyx dressed as a hunter and go out of the bushes to shot an arrow at the deer which was seriously injured. Seeing this scene Arrow Boy ran near the dying deer to heal her.
Meanwhile Nyx come to her senses and realized what she had just done. She immediately ran to see her injured sister. She cried with shame and apologized a thousand times for everything she had put her through.
The boy in a brave impulse offered his life to the goddess. The affected goddess accepted and asked him what he wanted in return. He replied "forgive your sister" before went into the goddess. Pan accepted and reconciled with her sister.
Since that day every year the two goddesses descend on Earth and sometimes you can see a little boy next to them.
Love is a precious treasure that we easily loose.
The moral is that we have to be satisfied with what we already have and not be willing to have everything at the expense of the ones we love.
