Freya started to sob on the other end causing my heart to clench. I could feel tears form in my eyes.

"We thought you were dead Alisha. You just stopped calling years ago. No trace. You even had mom and dad worried which is a shocker" Freya sobbed trying to laugh it off.

"I know and I'm sorry I really am but I was calling to see if we could all get together. Just the four of us" I struggle to talk without crying.

"When and where" I don't know why but after hearing this caused even more tears to fall. I was finally going to see my family and I had a choice to do so.

"Tonight at five?" I say wiping away my tears.

"Where are we meeting?" She says.

"I'll text you when I figure that part out"

"Ok sounds good. Now I have to let you go I gotta get back to work"

"I love you" I mutter smiling to myself.

"Love you too. See you later" Freya hangs up. I look over at Emilio. He was still talking to Lewis. I scoot over to Emilio's side. I lean my head on his shoulder. Emilio wraps his arm around my shoulder leaning his head on mine.

"I got to go take care of these files. See you guys" Lewis says before leaving.

"Can my siblings come here for dinner?" I ask.

"Yeah, they can. What do you want to have for dinner?"

"Can we grill some cheeseburgers out back?" I ask looking up at him.

"Yeah but we got to go to the store to get some buns meat and something to go on the side"

Nodding my head I pull Emilio's phone out. I text my sister the address to Emilio's house before getting up. I run upstairs and change into some clothes before waiting for Emilio to come down.

Once Emilio came down I dragged him to the car. I was excited about tonight. I wanted to be ready for them when they arrived in two hours.

"So what are your siblings' names?" Emilio asked, glancing at me before turning his gaze back to the road.

"Freya, Alayah, and Graysen" I answer happily. Emilio's eyebrows squished together.

"Pearson?" He asked, now it was my turn to squish my eyebrows together.

"Yeah, why?"

"They work for me"

"Really"

"Yep they joined my ga- company a few years ago and they've mentioned you a lot. I didn't put two and two together until you said their names" Emilio says. Don't think I didn't notice his slip up because I did. He has now confirmed my suspicion of him Being in a gang. Now with him saying they work for him means he must be the leader. The file Lewis got a file from him today which must have to do with this gang of his. Gosh, I should have been a detective. I swear I know I'm right about this. How could I not be? There are so many signs.

"Right your company" I mutter rolling my eyes.

"What's with the sass?" Emilio asked, glancing at me with slightly squinted eyes.

"What sass?" I look out the window as Emilio parks the car.

"You just rolled your eyes at me" I shrug my shoulders getting out of the car. Emilio walks over to me shaking his head. I grab his hand causing Emilio to look down at me. Ignoring his stare I continue to walk into Walmart.

Emilio and I grabbed the things we needed and hurried back to the house. The reason we had to hurry back to the house was that we were not the fastest in the store. Since I've only been to the store a few times since leaving Wilson I had to stop and look at all the new things I've never seen before.
