Chapter 5

Barry's POV
I must have misheard. Did I hear that guy named Percy say that they are Demigods? So then I ask "You can't be serious." While attempting to laugh but they look serious except the boy named Leo. " You're actual Demigods?" Then Clark steps in and says " He's a bit slow despite his speed." Then Percy gasps.

Percy's POV
When Clark speaks about Barry having speed, everything suddenly makes sense. And of course instead of calmly explaining, I gasp very loudly.
Now everyone's looking at me, Good job Percy. Time to play dumb. "Clark is wearing a blue shirt, do you think he likes blue like me??" Please someone buy this lame excuse, please.

Leo's POV
Percy is fooling no one with that excuse but I'll play along. "No one can like blue like you. It's like the existence of a half pig half chicken." There that should put everyone's doubts away. Then Annabeth speaks, well almost everyone's doubts, " There is an existence of a creature that's half pig and also half chicken."
Percy and I glance at each other first shocked then interested.

Annabeth's POV
There's a look on Leo and Percy's face that I don't trust. "Leo, Percy, whatever you're thinking stop thinking it." They both groan. Clark clears his throat to get all our attention before saying " I don't to be rude, but what exactly are you guys doing here if you're demigods?" Should we tell him? The rest of the guys have that look on their faces. Someone better respond and quickly cause Clark is beginning to look suspicious. Come on, anyone.

Frank's POV
One of the first things I was taught as a child was honesty no matter the cost so I guess that's why I blurted out "We're here to find Percy's brother." Before closing my mouth tightly.
Now everyone is looking at me, why did I have to talk? Ok Frank you can do this. I then explain the whole story without mentioning the location of Camp and without explicit details about our experiences. When I'm done Clark and Barry both gasp out one word "Wow!"

Barry's POV
This guys have done so much in their lives, they shouldn't have to do more. I'm going to help them find Percy's bro. With my super speed it won't take long. " I'll help you find him." Percy asks" Who?" "I'll help you find your brother." Now Reyna is suspicious, "Why do want to help us?" I glance at Nico and Hazel to back me up. Hazel speaks first "We can trust him, he's a good person." They visibly relax.

Clark's POV
These guys need all the help they can get, Barry is fast but doesn't know smallville as well as I do so they'll need me. "I'll help too." Reyna says "No." The directness of the refusal hurt me, so I ask "Why?" She seems to be looking for an excuse though I don't know why.

Reyna's POV
How do I stop him from coming along? He has too much power in him, he could take all of us down before we knew what was happening. "You don't have the skills to help us." Clark asks "What skills? You guys need a guide to show you around and help you if you get in trouble with the police." That's actually a valid point but I'll never admit it. Piper speaks up "Then it's settled, Clark and Barry will help us. Any arguments?" I want to argue but everyone seems to agree with her so I leave it alone.

Jason's POV
"Not to be rude or anything but what powers do you and Barry have?" Clark says that Barry should go first.
Barry says " I can run at supersonic speeds at around mach 4, I generate lightning when I run, I can vibrate through solid objects and a ton of other stuff." I'm astounded. A ton of other stuff?? Even though he has all that already?? Time to compose myself. "What about you Clark?" Clark looks a bit shy then says, " I can run fast but only just a bit past the speed of sound, I have x-ray vision, heat vision, artic breath, microscopic vision, heightened senses, I'm invulnerable, extremely strong, can jump really high but I still don't know how to fly." He said that last part with a low voice, my mouth was hanging open now. Leo speaks first.

Leo's POV
"You can do all of this??? We could have used you during all of our wars." Percy nods his head in agreement then a phone rings. The rest of us look around except Clark who picks the call

Clark's POV
Chloe is calling, I must have spent too much time out. "Hey, what's up?" Chloe responds frantically, "Your parents are about to send out a search party, where are you?!!!" I forgot, my parents, "I'm almost home now, sorry." I turn around and tell them that I have to go, then Leo says that they'll come with me and say that they got lost but I found them. "Ok but how do I take all of you at once?"

Barry's POV
"I can help with that. I'll take Nico and Hazel, Clark you'll carry that cart out there, the rest of you guys will jump in and Clark will carry you while running at super speed. Simple." Clark said he's strong let's see how strong. To my surprise Clark simply nods and grabs the cart without even seeming to notice the weight and tells everyone to jump in including me.

Hazel's POV
This would be nice apart from the fact that we're going to be rushing the ride. Clark lifts the cart with us in it without a flinch and asks, " You guys ready? Hold on tight." Then it's like I blink and we're suddenly in a barn, we then hear a voice shouting "Clark!" I wonder who that is.
