Diary of The Misunderstood

Entree Two: School

I put on my glasses, striped hat, and striped jacket. I shake with nerves. Today is the first day of school and i don't know anyone or have any clue what I'm doing. I had gotten up at six to start getting ready. How I actually woke up that early? I set a Pandora alarm clock to Fall Out Boy radio. Perfect.

7:40

I have to get to the bus stop. I wave my mom goodbye after convincing her to not take me to the bus stop and saying that I'm a big girl and not a five year old. I walk down the driveway with my head down, and start walking out of the neighborhood. I turn to the left, and start walking down the side of the road. When the bus stop comes into sight, I put my head down even more, seeing all of the dressed up girls and athletic guys. I stop and wait for the bus to come. I don't socialize at all, I observe. I notice a group of seven graders. They are all boys, and walk in like they own the place, and I pin them as the mean bullies who have huge egos. In the end I'm right. two of them act mean to these two girls from my grade and I decide to stay out of their way.

When the bus comes, I pick an empty seat. Someone sits next to me, but neither of us talk to one another. The day goes on with class introductions, and information.

For the rest of the week class goes on like this. The only difference? I make and ditch two friends (We had nothing in common and they were kinda boring), and make three real friends who I keep. In the end one becomes a friend, one becomes a good friend, and one becomes one of my best friends. Her name is Cayla. I also socialize with my table group in math and we all get along. Cami, Jake, and Alex. I get along really well with Cami, but i don't know if she considers me a friend. I mean she looks like she is more popular and I'm a nobody. She wouldn't want to be friends with me. 

Right?

And that ladies and gentleman is how my first week of middleschool went by. I introduced a few new characters I might mention during some of my later entrees. Cayla and Cami play a big role and are some of my best friends.
