Edelias POV
"Do you like it?" my friend Selene says, holdiing up a drawing of a cresent moon.
"Yeah, do you draw anything besides moons?" i ask laughing. Selene is so odd, she moved here last year with her brothers Andreis and Vladimar. Im not really sure how we became friends, but one day we started talking and never stopped. She honestly could have tons of friends, shes georges and just seems to have this natural glow under her porseline skin. She has platnumblonde hair and violet eyes. Her brothers, well they kind of left her hanging, Vladimar is the captain of the swim and dive team. Andreis is the center of the schools theatre department. Selene just draws moons all day and chills with me. It doesnt bother me though, shes a good friend. " I dont know, i just draw..." she replies, but becomes silent as she sees Alithia and Aiden, the two most popular kids in the school. Alithia is the head of the debate team and plays every sport in the school except swimming. Shes also in like a million AP classes and is super smart. Aiden is also very smart and is the president of the student council, circle of friends, and bully free zone club. They walk to their seats, which are next to mine. "hey Edelia." Alithia says to me and smiles. Thats never happend before. Me and her are from two different worlds.Actually, now that i recal, this is the only class we have together. And its a crappy back up elective that was created by our new principle Mr. Chi. Its a Greek Mythology and Literature class. Its only the first day so hope fully i can get a schedule change. "Today," says a strong voice that sounds familiar, " We are going to start out the school year with a project. This is my favorite and im sure will be yours also. It is the Greek Gods, Godesses, and characters project." i look up to see that it is Mr. Chi himself standiing at the board. Great this is going to be fun learning about this crap. Oddly though, everyone else looks super excited, even Selene... Weird.
