Hephaestus (Aiden) POV

                I can tell Athena doesn’t want to go back, even though she knows what’s going to happen if we stay. She is the Goddess of wisdom. Once she gets her head fixed on something, she stays on that. I love that about her but sometimes it’s not always the smartest thing, which is ironic given who she is. I don’t think the others have figured out what we have, because they have been living life here. Athena and I live, but also observe the changes going on within us and surrounding us. Every day we notice we get a tiny bit weaker. When we both noticed this we talk about it. Then we realized, it was worse than we thought. We didn’t know the reason why Zeus left us here, but when he did he made sure we would slowly become mortals. We need to tell the others, we just aren’t sure how to. We just need to summon Nyx, and figure out where our immortality is going. Then we need to get back into heaven and figure out what the hell Zeus is up to.

Selene POV

                It was terrible seeing Hebe like that, I know the memory definitely wasn’t a walk in the park for her. She had to relive the hurt, anger, and betrayal like that, in front of everyone. At least she has her memories back, and we can get home. I know that Zeus is making us weak on purpose, but I’m not sure how. I don’t even know what had happened to Nyx, or her husband Erebus. For all we know Zeus could have killed her, or she could still be up there. Knowing Zeus, he has some plan that he most likely will change his mind on. There is something different about what he’s doing this time though, this has never happened before. Hebe is the key though, this must put a lot of pressure on her shoulders. Who knows what crazy ridiculous tasks she must do to open the door? I decide I should go check on her, she should be up it’s already 10:00 am. So I walk out of the gigantic room and tip toe towards hers. I slowly twist the gold spirally knob, just in case she was sleeping. When I walk in, I see Hebe tip toeing out of the bed. When she notices I’m in the room she has a deer in the headlights look. “What’s wrong?” I ask as Poseidon walks out of the bathroom with nothing but boxers on. Finally I understand what was going on. “OH MY GOSH!” I say in shock. He quickly jumps and throws a shirt on and she does the same. “I’m just going to leave now,” I say backing up. “No, Selene I was just leaving, go ahead.” He says sounding embarrassed. He quickly rushes past me, and to his room before anyone can see. I close the door then start to sit on her bed, but then change my mind considering what had happened in it prior to my arrival. So instead I go to the small, purple chair that’s across from her. “I know what you’re thinking, that was a huge mistake, but he was being so kind and one thing led to another a-“she starts to say but then I cut her off. “You don’t need to explain anything to me, you need someone to be nice to you, after what happened. I just wanted to see how you’re feeling about the key thing and offering.” She takes a deep breath. “Well, a little nervous I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. And what happens when we get back up there? What am I going to do about Hercules?” she says nervously, “Well,” I say “Just face what’s going on and do all we can in our power to stop Zeus before he can do what he’s trying to. And Hercules, well screw him, if he knows about you and Poseidon, then so what. What he did to you was a million times worse.” I can tell she was considering what I was saying then got a weird look on her face. “I think I might be falling for him though, but I need to focus on getting to the offering and seeing what I need to do to get back in.” I reply “Then concentrate on that and don’t worry about it. Come on lets go see what everyone else is doing, so we can figure out what we need to do next.” I say getting up and gesturing for her to follow me. Things are going to spiral out of control, but let’s just hope its later then sooner.

I really enjoyed writing this chapter!!! Like I loved it!! It was nice to throw in a new POV and a different personality for a change. I thought both parts of this chapter were great! Hope you all enjoyed! I love you allllll!!! Remember to vote and comment feedback and share! JJJ
