Kuroko's parents were informed but he had to stay in Akashi's mansion as he was still unconscious and couldn't risk being moved around for the time of recovery. Akashi came home from school and went up to the room Tetsuya was in immediately, sitting down besides Tetsuya's bed.
Akashi pov
I looked at his not moving features, silently praying for him to wake up. It's been a week since the escape and he hasn't woken up yet. Come on Tetsuya, I didn't save you just for nothing! Wake up! That is when I felt my eyes watery and tears rolled down my face, dripping onto Tetsuya's face. I felt hopeless for the first time in my life as I buried my face into the white blankets of the bed.
"A..Akashi-kun?" I heated a small voice and lifted up my head, and saw Tetsuya looking at me with those calm blue eyes. "Tetsuya?" "Don't cry Akashi-kun..." I gently hugged him and said softly, "I will never let anyone hurt you, ever. I will protect you."
