I woke up to my 10:00 am alarm the next day and rolled over to see Natalie was no longer sleeping next to me across the bed. She probably had gotten up to make some breakfast and return phone calls that I had ignored from brands. Ever since she became my assistant my career has been so much better. I used to get so overwhelmed at the amount of people asking things of me, I couldn't keep them all straight nor did I want to try and let a lot of people down. I got up and walked out into the kitchen. Natalie was sitting at the counter on the phone with someone about a booking. I grabbed a pan and placed it on the stove to make myself some scrambled eggs. "Oh David, you don't have to cook I ordered breakfast for you it should be here in a minute." She said over her phone call. Just then I hear the door bell and go to answer it. I bring the food back and see she's ordered a fresh fruit assortment and some avocado toast from my favorite breakfast spot in LA. She finishes her phone call and starts writing stuff down in her planner. "Thanks Nat, I love this place." I said and she replied with some witty comment about how she deserves a raise for memorizing my order. "Ha funny, what's planned for today?" I asked and came around the counter to look at her planner. "Um well you and Liza we're supposed to have a photo shoot for the new merch, that's actually who I was just on the phone with.. if you aren't in the mood to do it alone I'll reschedule" she trailed on. "No it's ok, why don't you just come and do it with me?" I asked and she looked surprised. "David no, I hate being in front of cameras that's your thing." "Um well you'd better start getting used to it, because that's what pays the bills around here." I laughed and winked at her. "You're coming with it'll be fine I promise." She rolled her eyes, "fine" and then went off to her room to get ready. I finished my breakfast and hopped in the shower. Natalie had started getting ready at least 15 min before me but I knew even after I was ready I'd still be waiting on her. "Nat! We gotta go!" I yelled from the living room. "I'm coming hang on!" She said and walked down the hall. "Here help me put this necklace on, I can't get it." She said and turned around lifting up her hair. I put it on her and she turned back around. "Ok you ready?" I had zoned out for a second looking at how good she looked. "Yea.. let's go." I said and grabbed the keys to my Tesla.
