It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the plants were a fresh light green and the slight breeze carried the smell of flowers and spring. On a clearing in a light forest laid a yellow blanket was covered in an arsenal of different sweets and backed goods. "Artem?", a young black haired woman yelled as she looked around. A small smile fell on the woman's face as a bush to her right begann to ruffle. A small boy crawled out of it. Chuckling the woman walked over and picked the boy up. "Where you off to find a magical creature again?", she asked him as she ruffled the messy black hair of the small boy. He nodded excitedly and a missing front tooth was visible. "I didn't find a creature, but this really pretty stone.", he hastily said, shoving his hand into the pocket of his trousers, he pulled out a a shiny black pebble. He hold it infront of the woman's face and eagerly waited for her reaction. The woman took a look at the pebble and then turned her eyes back to her son. "Really pretty indeed.", she agreed with a soft voice. The blue eyes of the little boy seemed to sparkle at his mother's agreement and he brightly grinned at her, clutching the pebble in his small fist now.

"Now pretty stone aside, who wants a piece of their birthday cake?", a deep voice asked. The boy turned his head at full speed around and raised his hand with childish excitement:"I want! I want! I want!". The tall black haired man chuckled at his son's excited behaviour, while the woman rolled her eye's, trying to keep the boy from falling out of her arms. "Was that really necessary Alexander?", she asked a little annoyed with her husband. Alexander walked over with a big grin on his face and took his son from his wife's arms into his own. Over the head of the boy he gave her a look that roughly translated to 'Come on Gloria, it's his birthday.'.  Then he turned back around and carried the cheering birthday boy to the blanket, where he put him down. Wiggling on his place in excitement Artem waited for is father to cut the delicious looking Chocolates Cake in front of him. Gloria gave a nearly silent scoff and followed her husband, sitting down next to her son, waiting for the serving of the cake. Alexander begann to cut the cake and the put a big piece of the chocolate cake on a plate giving it to his son and then cut a normal sized piece that he gave to his wife. After shooting her a smile he cut a third piece and put it on his own plate, then he looked over to his son and chuckled at the picture he made. Artem was holding his plate in one hand and and already heald a fork in the other ready to dig in, his eyes bright and big as if he wanted to eat the cake just with his eyes.

"You can start eating now, Artem.", Gloria said with a faint smile on her normally so serious face. The boy didn't need to be told twice and started to dig in, his parents soon followed his actions and started to eat to. And so in a clearing in a forest under sunshine and with birds singing Artem celebrated his fifths birthday.
