The night is tauntingly beautiful. You looked at the crystal clear pond that reflected your figure, feeling much calmer. You were frustrated somehow, all because of this one royal family. What happened? Well, here comes a long story.

'The Jeons', the richest and the most powerful royal family in South Korea. However, they are not what people think they are. People think that they are the best royal family ever, in their eyes, 'The Jeons' are rich, capable, kind, and of course, the best. However, all of the royal families in South Korea knew who they truly are. To us, they are no where like the peoples description, to us, they are just merciless and sly. Why were their true form not revealed to the people?It's simply impossible. They murdered each and every member of the royal family whom tried to spread their story and identity to the people. They obtained their power through cheating and manipulating the other royal families. Their true identity is indeed the royal family, but besides that, they are a family of merciless mafia, they are the worlds most powerful mafia family ever.

Now that we're clear with their story, lets get back to where I was feeling frustrated and troubled. Apparently, King Jeon has decided to pass his throne down to his only son, Prince Jeon, a troublesome mafia that is even crueler and merciless than his father. Why is this a problem to me? Well, in order to inherit the throne, the heir has to be engaged or married. 'The Jeons' has sent an invitation to all of the still single and available female members of every royal family to attend this masquerade ball that will be held in their castles. You're absolutely sure that the heir to the royal family is going to choose his 'wife' on that very day, and you're rejected this whole thing with your heart. You still felt relieved though, because you knew that there are so many pretty and gorgeous looking princesses out there and the heir of the royal family surely would love to choose a very beautiful looking princess than you.

Well, when's the masquerade ball? Great question. And the answer is tonight. You let out a heavy sigh, not knowing there's a figure standing right next to you.

"Y/N."

You looked around, shocked by the sudden call from someone. You thought you were alone all these time, but then you let your guard down after you realised it was just your father, King Y/F/N.

"Father..."
"Are you prepared? It's almost time."
"I don't want to go..." You spoke softly, almost like a whisper.
"No one wants to, but I assure you, you're going to be alright."
"I hope so..."

Your father also let out a heavy sigh.

"You know, we already had a meeting with everybody else in the family. Although you're the only single and available lady we have, but all of us has swore to protect you from all harm. So, if you were unfortunately chosen, just make a run for it."
"Wait what? They will kill all of us."
"It's alright, marriage is something very important to all females. Never marry someone like that."

You were so touched. All of your family members are willing to protect you. You gave your father a long hug.

"Alright, now go, you wouldn't want to be late."

You smiled at your father before taking your leave. Your servant leaded you to your ride, and you are ready to leave. You looked at your castle one last time before signaling your driver to start the journey.

After almost half an hour, a gigantic castle appeared in front of your very eyes. You were gasping as you were feeling amazed of how big this castle is compared to yours. You quicking took your mask and wore it before being escorted by your servants towards the main door of the castle. You were about to step in until the guard by the door stopped you for a simple check up that has to be done by everyone to prevent anyone from bringing weapons into the castle that would threaten the Jeons. After the checkup, you finally stepped into the castle.

Wow. The lobby is already that huge. You were amazed by how fine the decorations around the lobby is. The sculptures by the wall, the fine arts on the wall, the whole lobby. It's just the lobby and you were already this amazed!

You then followed the path where everyone was going. The whole journey is simply exhausting, this place is seriously too big. "Finally!", you exclaimed in your heart as you reached the ballroom. It's so crowded in here. Fancy feast served, bright lights shone, the whole atmosphere was just so grand.

Of you go, wondering around the ballroom, enjoying every inch of view you could possibly get. You took your camera out and started taking pictures around. It's a waste if no pictures were taken when visiting somewhere as grand as this castle. You wondered and wondered around until you arrived at an empty balcony. No one was there, simply calming and comfortable. You noticed that the night sky was simply beautiful. And yes, you started taking pictures.

"Enjoying the view?"

Shocked upon the sudden voice, you turned around. To your surprise, there stood a young man, with a mask on his face of course. Who is this guy?

"Yes...?"
"You're not supposed to be here though."He chuckled.
"The event hasn't started yet, so I thought maybe you know..."

He said nothing but smiled mysteriously.

"How's the ball?"
"I don't know how I should feel about it." You smiled back.
"Have you tasted the dishes that are served? They are amazing."
"I haven't, now that you've reminded me, I should probably head back to the ballroom for some."

Just as you were about to leave, you noticed something fishy.

"Hey... I thought only single and available ladies are invited, what are you doing here?"

He said nothing and smiled mysteriously again.

"The ballroom's that way." He pointed.

Weird. You then smiled again before leaving the balcony.
