Is it almost time? I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER!

Quick  A/N So I realised after reading the last chapter that Caiden was suppose to meet the one at 31. SORRY! He was suppose to meet him at 23. So umm ya, sorry 'bout that guys.

Here I am,  22 years. I'm still waiting. Just one more year and a couple more months to go. I just can't wait, I walk around the streets seeing people happy, hand in hand, cuddling, I want that. I still fear that I'll be alone forever, like what if there is an odd number of people in the world and i'll have to be alone. Sometimes when I'm on the street I see people, people who are unhappy. Some are alone yes but some are together with someone they weren't meant to be with. Like they decided to not find the soulmate when the time on their watched counted down. That's why they're unhappy. More what ifs come when I see this. " what if I accidentally steal my soulmate from someone else and they're not actually my soulmate?"

Don't be silly Caiden. The keys and lock are specially designed and are unique, one of a kind. I quickly reminded myself.

I was slumped down outside a restaurant, I ain't a hobo or anything I was just waiting for my friend and his soulmate who he recently just met.

"Hey Caiden! Meet Brooklyn or Brooke for short." said my friend Nathan.  I said hi to Brooke and we went into the restaurant to find some seats. Brooke left for the washroom soon after we took our seats. They found each other just this morning. Like literally this morning. He called me all excited at about  three am to drive him home after drinking about 7 shots of vodka. That's when it happened, she was the one who served him the drink. His key said "How can I help you?"

Nathan pulled me over.

"Bro you okay? You seemed pretty sad out there."

"Yeah I'm just worried about not finding the one or not being happy. I mean look at you two. Clearly meant for each other."

"Dude don't worry about all this. You're still young and I don't think your watch is done yet is it?"

"No."

"Exactly, lots of time left. Now let's go have dinner and you can learn more about Brooke."

"Okay"
