One month later:
Khushi and Anya were watching cartoons. They both got along with each other very well in this one month.
“Oh no” exclaimed, Anya.
“What happened Anya?” asked khushi.
“We can only enjoy ten days cutie, after that, I can't be available to spend time with you, ” said Anya dramatically.
She chuckled at her antics “ Can I know the reason sweety?” asked khushi.
“My classes are going to start after ten days, and you know how teachers are. They just can't digest their food without giving us homework,” said Anya with a sign.
“Oh, I think you're just five years, so the homework will be less,” said khushi.
“Yes but it is still more for me,” said Anya.
“Ok, then we will enjoy the weekend, what say?” asked khushi.
“Yes, obviously cutie” they hugged each other with happiness.

Khushi was checking the clock every five minutes while waiting for arnav. It is half-past ten still there is no sign of him usually he will be home by ten and this caused khushi to get tense. She wanted to know his whereabouts but she didn't have a phone and also his number. She thought to ask Annie but decided opposite as she didn't want to disturbed her.
She heard the house landline ring. She rushed to attend the call hoping it to be arnav and it was from him only.
“Khushi” Arnav spoke from another end.
“Where are you arnavji?
When will you be home?” khushi poured her questions.
“Khushi, I have important work, I will be late, have your dinner and sleep” replied arnav.
“Ok” saying she hanged the call.
She walked into the kitchen to reheat the food and sat on the dinner table with food. She frowned as she did not like eating without company and she had used to have dinner with Arnav every day signing she ate less as her appetite was gone.
She walked into her room and laid on bed after changing into nightwear. She tossed and turned for a few minutes as sleep was far away and the person should be blamed for this is Arnav as she got used to sleeping in his arms with a frustrated sign she sat up.
What is this Devi Maiya?
Now I can't even sleep without him beside me. You are making me dependent on him just like I was on my Buaji. I was also not used to sleeping without her beside me (she smiled remembering her days with her Buaji) the only one day I used to sleep without her was......suddenly a realization hit her strongly.
But, shrugging it off she slept at arnav's side.

Arnav tiptoed into their room. He glanced at the clock and it showed ten minutes to twelve. He moved towards the bed and found khushi was sleeping on his side that too at the edge of bed. She tossed and was about to fall but before that he caught her.
Huff, your sleeping habit, I think I should build walls around the bed so that she won't fall....thought Arnav and chuckled at his own thought.
He gently stroked her shoulder to wake her up but she just shrugged his hand and slept moving her face into his chest.
He smiled seeing that she got more comfortable with him and placed her properly on the bed.
