i walked up to liyah while she walked away angrily.
" aaliyah ". i said softly.
ignored.
" aaliyah ". i said again.
ignored. i rolled my eyes and grabbed liyah's arm softly. she turned around facing me with tears running down her face.
my heart turned. she put her head down and i lifted her chin up with my finger.
" aaliyah whats wrong? ". i asked.
she looked away and spoke.
" its hard for me to see you jalen ".
" when i see you, all i see is happy moments. and when we stopped talking i grew sad ".
" did you know my mother died? ". she added.
i grew shocked and just pulled her into a hug while she cried harder.
" jalen , im sorry ". she said taking her face out my chest.
" its okay, come on ". i said before taking her hand.
we both walked into her house. i let her hand go and closed the door behind me. when i looked up she was just sitting on the stairs. i walked over and sat next to her then put my arm around her.
" so when were you going to tell me liyah? ". i asked.
" never, i didnt think you would care ". she explained.
" also you looked so happy with your basketball carrer, i didnt want to interfere. " she added.
" aaliyah, i dont care what terms we're on, we promised were going to love eachother until death do us apart". i said.
i held out my hand. she grabbed it and our hands locked, i looked up and her and she smiled. i wiped her tears from her face.
" so liyah, i know you're not a fan of sharing your feelings ". i said.
" but does melanie know? ". i asked.
she shook her head before she spoke.
" i didnt tell anyone, it between me and my dad ". she admitted.
i nodded my head.
" if thats the case im not gonna ask anymore questions, but im here for you alright? ". i said
" i know. only ex that's not blocked ". she said before she smiled.
i covered my mouth in shock and started laughing.
" wow , so we being petty? ". i asked happily.
" im the only ex that made you sc- ". i tried to say but she cut me off.
" jalennnnn ! ". she yelled happily.
she let go of my hand and covered my mouth. i tried to stand up but she wrapped her arms around me weighing me down but some how i still stood up and scooped her up. i ran down the stairs with her then ran into her living room throwing her on the couch but she still had her arms wrapped around me so i went down with her.
we hit the couch funny as hell so we both just laid there and laughing. after that i looked over at her and saw she was looking at me.
" you love me? ". i asked.
she blushed and rolled her eyes.
" yes i do jalen, and i always will ". she said making me smiling even more.
i scooped her up and put her on top of me. she smiled and looked at me. i puckered my lips and she leaned in and kissed me.
