Chapter 1

I propped the camera up, pressing record then letting out a breath. Sitting back, I sighed, looking around the room as I gathered my thoughts. "Well, uh, hi guys!" I spoke, letting out an awkward laugh afterwards. "Damn, I don't even know how to explain this." The slight smile still present on my face.

"I was kind of hoping I wouldn't have to do this but I feel like you guys deserve to know." I ran my hand through my hair then down my face before I continued. "Uhm, I guess I should start explaining now." Another deep breath to ease my nerves.

"So I've been getting a lot of tweets this past week. You all keep asking questions, 'Where's Maddie?' and 'When are you going to upload?' Things like that." I started, "To answer the last one, here's that upload! I mean it's probably not the type of video you were expecting but you read the title of this video and still clicked on it." I scratched at the back of my neck.

"I apologize for being so hush with you guys, I know that I'm usually more active but I've been kind of out of it lately. Not that I'm saying I'm not into the YouTube thing anymore, never that." My phone chimed so I picked it up to see who it was. I sent them a quick reply before turning back to the camera.

"Just my mom." I informed. "The reason I've been so M.I.A. lately is because I've been trying to get myself together. Now you might notice the missing objects in the studio." I gestured to the spots around the room. "A bit of removing and such. I'm sure you're asking what that has to do with anything but relax, I'm getting there." I glanced down at my feet, now this is harder than I thought.

"You all are really observative so I know you caught on to how I dodged the Maddie question. That being said I'm pretty sure you all have made the connection that the missing items in the room were pictures of us and her things." I paused, closing my eyes, "We had uhm- Well uh, we broke up." I finished, scratching at the back of my neck.

"I was really dreading this day, I mean I guess I should've known better but still. We had a whole ass channel together." I sighed, "She said we just fell out of love but we were just fine a week ago but it's whatever."

"I don't want you guys giving her shit about that." I reached out for the jug of water I had on my desk. "I'm only telling you all this because like I said you deserve to know why certain things start vanishing and one less person is present. There's going to be a shift." I explained.

"You're not going to be seeing her in any of the new videos I post, at least not anytime soon. You're also not going to be getting any new videos on the couple's channel, I kinda almost feel bad in a way, I mean you guys watched the relationship grow. I guess we all knew it was going to die at some point. As much as I thought we'd last, that wasn't the case." I placed the water back on my desk.

"At first I planned on keeping our channel up, not wanting to take that away from you all, but I changed my mind. I plan on deleting the channel 24 hours after I post this video. So I hope you guys enjoy the moments we shared because soon they'll just be a memory." I rubbed my hands together.

"Now that being said I won't be deleting the ones from my channel, firstly because I'm too lazy to do so, secondly because they're just videos she happened to guest star in. So I guess we won't totally be gone from the internet, and I'm sure some of you already have these videos saved but for the ones that don't, 24 hours. So once you watch this video you know what's going down." I said, pointedly.

"Anyways enough about the break up topic, that's not the only thing that's changing. I feel like it's only right to change up the look of things. Nothing like switching up the look of your surroundings to get you over a break up I guess." I said, scratching the back of my head.

"Nothing major though, just a redesign to my studio. During the past week I've been finding ways to distract myself and get out of my head. For awhile now I've been wanting to give it a makeover and I just think that now is a good time to do it."

"With that being said, you guys have watched this channel grow and this room come to the look it has now, way back when it wasn't much, that is unless you're a new viewer and if that's the case then hi guys I'm Y/N. But back to what I was saying, I want to walk you all through the studio's transformation. Obviously I don't want to spoil the surprise but I have some big plans for the new design. New furniture, props even, it's going to be dope and once I finish it all I'll be giving you guys the full tour." I took a moment to breathe.

"Before I sign off though, I want to give you all the before of the room." I lifted the camera off of my desk and showed off the studio. "I've made so many memories in here and I love this place with all my heart but I wish to make even more memories after it's transformed." I said putting the camera back down after I finished.

"So now I guess that's it. An update on what's been going on and what's going to happen next. I hope you guys enjoyed the video even if it started out a little gloomy. New videos on the way! Awesome things coming up! I love you guys, stay amazing! Until the next episode, like, subscribe, and have a good fucking day!" I said signing off and stopping the camera.

I sighed, leaning back in my desk chair. I still miss her, even if she is two-faced, she was fun to be around. I shouldn't be so hung up on this girl yet we were together for almost two years, but for her to go and make moves on my brother like he wouldn't come tell me that shit. Yeah we're not blood but this nigga been my homie since day one and she goes and tries some shit like that, while I'm in the other room, is just a big no go. And a nigga got cameras, come on now.

"I suppose I should go eat something now." I mumbled to myself, rising from my seat and heading to the smaller kitchen I had upstairs. Just a spot to make something quick and easy.

I settled on some ramen, simple and delicious. I took my bowl of noodles and sat on the couch in the living room. Technically I lived alone, I mean I pay for my house but it's so bug that when my friends come over there's always a place for them.

"Y/N! Are we done fighting now? I miss you, and I still have a key." I recognized the voice, Maddie. Shit I forgot to get my damn key back, this bitch probably already made copies and shit. I'm going to have to change all my locks.

She walked into the room, "This fight is over right babe?" She tried to get close to me but I pushed her back. "Back the fuck up bruh, this ain't a fucking fight. We're done bro." I stated, standing up I heard her whimper. "But baby, I miss you. You know I didn't mean it."

"Man shut the fuck up and give me my key. How you gon make moves on my brother? In my house?" She went to say something but I just shook my head. "Key." I said again.

She just sighed and put it in my hand. "So you're foreal? Or are we just taking a break." She questioned. I must not have been clear enough.

"Come closer." She stepped closer, I gested her to get closer and she did. I leaned down to her ear, "Were over! I'm done with yo ass!" She jumped back at my sudden shouting. "Get the fuck out!" She stood there, "But-"

"Do I have to actually throw you out? Go on, leave! And don't come back." I wasn't playing games, if she didn't leave I'm throwing her out. "Fine but don't be calling my phone asking me to come back." She said, grabbing her purse that she had put down and walking away. "Wasn't planning on it."

I heard the door open and close so I went back to watching my show and enjoying my noodles. "I really have to go?" Oh my god. "Fine I guess I gotta escort you myself." I mumbled under my breath. "I tried to be reasonable with you."

"What are y- Put me down!" I just shook my head, throwing the girl over my shoulder and walked to the front door. Okay so I don't want her to go to the police about assault or anything if I really throw her, and I don't need anybody to take pictures of that either. I opened the door and sat her in the driveway and went back inside, closing the door behind me.

I heard her let out a scream, she sounds agitated, good.

Now back to my show and thinking about life.
