After a long and stressful day at school, I reach my house. I ring the bell, waiting patiently for it to open.

The door creaks open as Rosie helps me inside. I sigh as I remove my shoes and put on a fluffy scandal - My favourite - .

" Brooklyn your home" says  a soft childish voice

Wendy rushs to me as she gives me a warm hug.

I pat her loose hair, " Have u been a good girl"

" Yes" she responds, " Look what uncle Noah brought me"

She was holding a big Teddy bear with a big red bow, her face Beaming with happiness.

" You already showing it off" a husky voice spoke as he walk towards us, " How was your day?"

I pull her up and sitted her on my lap as noah pinches her chubby cheeks.

" School was fine" I tell him

" That's Good"

Our house was big, big enough to fit into two bed rooms and besides that it was comfortable to live in.

" Welcome home dear" Aunt Megan strolls out of the kitchen and plasteres a kiss on my cheek, " How was your day?"

" Good"

Noah smiles at me as he makes himself comfortable on the sofa, " So what are we going to be having for dinner mum, am starving!"

Aunt chuckles, " Am afraid you'll have to wait for a bit"

Liam goans, and I giggle at his behaviour. She walks back into the kitchen, leaving me with Wendy and noah.

" Where's uncle" I ask him

" He's in a meeting" he said casually, grabbing the remote and switching the T. V on.

The smile of delicious pasta fills the dinning room making my tummy rumble.

Sofie places my share on the table, " enjoy"

"what about Dad" Wendy mentions

" He won't be joning as for dinner today" Noah tells her

She gave a sigh, folding her arms and pouts , " That no fair"

We all chuckle at her response as I eat my food.

I was out in the greeny garden, warm wind brushing past my skin making my hair blow freely in its embrace.

Sighing, I thought of going for a walk outside. There was a forest near our house which me and Noah always used to risk about. I haven't went there for the past few months because of how busy I was but a thought crossed my a mind I decided to do so, besides I wasn't doing anything at the moment .

Noah and I always went together, but I was going by myself this time so I thought Aunt would disagree with me and how I was didn't help either.

Luckily she had agreed. I was now a grown girl and bothering Noah to come with me seemed like a disturbance to me.

I was walking through the umber-brown, ancient forest. It reeked of age. Its woody incense was from centuries of snapping branches crashing to the forest’s floor and rotting silently. The composting, organic smell rose up in waves like a miasma. Every sprawling tree I  passed under reminded me of a watchful guardian, a silent sentinel of the groves. I decide to venture deeper into the tangled heart of this primeval forest. Hoping that it would reveal its secrets to me.

The further I  went, the more mystical and spellbinding it became. Huge roots spread-eagled the ground, twisting like the great backs of sea dinosaurs. The foliage became thick and lush, forming an arch of fairytale-green above our heads. Arthritic boughs, gnarled with age, dripping their bounty of nuts onto the path. Briars, brambles and berry trees flanked the trail, making it impenetrable on either side. Shuffling noises came from deep in the interior, deadening by the cunningly woven web of leaves. A troupe of shambling badgers crossed the winding trail in front of me at one point. They were finishing up their early afternoon foraging and looked startled to see me.

I arrive at a wide glade, where the trees fall away, revealing the bespeckled sky. The last of the afternoon sun was shimering high , luminous and bright. An ore gold moon hung quietly in the distance replacing the Flaming ball, casting a honeyed sheen over the trees. I  pause for a moment as I watched it fade away.  I decided to countuie but I wished I never did...

Everything around me freezes , my heart pounding rapidly, my body trembling with fear.

Red liquid was on the ground, flowing out the limpy body and splattering onto the floor. My eyes scanns the scene, stopping at the coal beast in front of me  . Its black fur were covered in scalert red, blood sloping down from its mouth. When it's head found its way to me, the colour quickly drains from my face, the menacing aura holding me in a tightening grip.

His gold eyes strangle me as I struggle to scream. My heat was burning with fear.

Slowly, It started to make its way towards me making me tense in my wheelchair. The palms of my hand was sweating, as I voice out a loud scream. In in a sudden motion, Blackness over takes my surroundings.
