I climb out of the taxi and carry my painfully heavy bags up to the front door of my new employers. I needed a break from the stress and drama of New York so that's why I'm here in Colorado beginning my new life working for the Duncan family. Upon ringing the doorbell, a short blonde lady opens the door.
"Hi! You must be Bertram Winkle. I'm Amy Duncan," the lady says with a smile.
"Yep that's me."
"Come in, come in. I'll get my husband Bob to help you with your bags," she opens the door wider to let me in and yells, "Bob come here and help Bertram with his bags! You'll be staying in Teddy's room since she's off at college."
"Sounds great to me. Thank you," I reply with gratitude.
As I walk through the doorway I hear the pounding of footstep coming from the kitchen. The door opens and here walks in a god-like man with buff arms and a balding head that somehow looks sexy on him. I couldn't take my eyes off him as he approached us at the front door.
"Hey I'm Bob," he says with a smirk that could make anyone's panties drop to the floor in a heartbeat. He puts his hand out for me to shake it.
I stand there taking in all his glory unable to move or speak. Then, I finally shake his hand and say, "I-I'm Bertram."
He chuckles at my nervousness and picks up my bags I struggled to carry with ease. The hulk-like muscles in his arms bulge and can be clearly defined through his thin, tight shirt. I can feel my arousal start to grow as I follow him to the basement where Teddy's room is. As we make our way there, I can't help but stare at his back muscles and the way they move when he walks down the stairs.
"Can you slide that door open for me?" Bob asks me. I meekly nod and slide it open. He passes by me and sets the bags down on the ground next to the bed.
"This will be where you are staying for the time you will be working for us."
I lean my back against the bookshelf next to the door looking down at the carpet, shifting my weight from one foot to the other unsure of what to do as Bob stares at me. Footsteps approach me and I look up. Bob's face is a few inches away from mine and he starts to lean in. I stand still as he reaches for something behind me and I feel his hot breath on my ear which sends goosebumps down my neck and spine. Bob pulls away from me and holds up a copy of Call Me By Your Name.
"I love this book," he says with a grin and walks out of the room and slides the door shut.
I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding a collapse on the bed. All I can seem to think about is the way Bob's muscles moved as he walked and picked up my heavy bags making it look like they were full of nothing but feathers. I shake my head to get rid of those thoughts and remind myself he's in a loving marriage with a happy family. Well... I think so at least.
